My Game Solutions: check out our sponsor
MGS is an app based technology that currently connects tennis players to one another so that they may meet up to play a friendly or competitive match. With the app you are able to choose an opponent based on their location, skill level and age. Over the next few months, My Game Solutions will begin adding more features, such as the ability to find stringers and hitting partners. On top of that, we will start providing our player finding service to other sports as well – so keep an eye out for those additions!
For everyone attending the tournament on Saturday, if you download the My Game Solutions app and enter the promo code MGSPLANO by 11:00 PM that evening, you will be entered into the raffle to win a ServeMaster (hyperlink: http://www.thetotalserve.com/2-ball-servemaster-lte/)! The winner will be contacted on Sunday.
We look forward to having you join of our community!
If you have any questions about the app or its features, please feel free to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Match location and how to find your time:
Once the draws are posted on Monday, players will need to click on the draws tab about halfway down the page. Once you have located your draw, find your name on the draw line and pay particular attention to the time and the abbreviation next to the time as this indicates WHERE THE MATCH WILL BE PLAYED. Then go back to the front page of the tournament and look at the legend of sites with the abbreviation of your match. Click on more info, and a map link with address will populate for that site. It is recommended that players re-check there time on Friday evening to see if any withdrawals have occurred which might advance a player in the draw with a new time. We do our best to send players an email notice of any withdrawals.
Some draws will change locations from Saturday to Sunday, so pay attention as no grace will be given for players who arrive late. Remember that the times posted online are the official times. If a match time is changed at the site due to long matches, make sure and ask the Site Director to update times on the web or get in writing.

a TX Sanctioned tournament levels division with a "0.0" rating,
they will be notified that Self Ratings are now required for play

Excessive Overrule Guideline: The USTA Texas Officials Committee along with the Competitive Department has established a guideline in reference to excessive overrules as clarified in the Friend at Court. This guideline states "Once a player has been overruled for a second time in a match, they will be cautioned that after another overrule, they will be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct under the point penalty system."
Inappropriate umpire/spectator communication, whether it be about a ruling or any other facet of a tennis event is prohibited while a match is in progress. Being a parent, coach, etc. does not endow special privileges. With the only exception of the right to remove their own child from competition at any time, a parent or coach is merely a spectator.
USTA Texas "No Late Entries" Policy for Juniors Due to a new USTA Texas internal procedure, junior division players will NOT be able to register for a tournament after the online published deadline. We are aware that currently parents reach out via email or phone to the USTA Texas staff and/or tournament director requesting to be manually added to the tournament after online registration has closed. If a player misses the registration deadline, then he/she will not be permitted to participate in that tournament
Registration Confirmation: As a parent or player it is your responsibility to assure registration in the event. Regardless if you register on the website or mobile app after completing the registration you should visit the USTA web driven site and confirm your registration by finding the player in the applicants list. If you select to skip this process please be aware that should any malfunctions of the system occur, players will not be granted late entrance in the event due to a system error.
