Tournament Registration Desk
The registration desk will be open on Saturday the 20th from 1:00pm - 5:00pm, Sunday the 21st from 8:00-12:00, and Monday the 22nd from 8:00am - 12:00pm. At this desk you can complete all necessary forms, register for the parties, and receive your tournament shirts.

PLAYER PARTIES
There are two complimentary dinners for all players and a guest at New Orleans Lawn Tennis Club. These dinners are on Monday, the 22nd at 7:00pm, and on Wednesday, the 24th, at 6:30pm with cocktails before dinner. The preferred dress is resort casual, for example slacks and a collared shirt. Mondays menu: Green Salad with Zinfandel Vinaigrette, Chicken marsala, au gratin potatoes, bacon green beans, bread and butter. Dessert is a chocolate sacher torte. Coffee station and an open call bar. Wednesdays menu: Butternut squash soup, stuffed redfish with crabmeat dressing & herb beurre blanc butter sauce, rolls and butter. Dessert is Godiva chocolate cake with chocolate drizzle. Open call bar.

Consolation draws for Singles events Doubles
We have always offered a round of 32 consolation for the 60's singles and we will do so again this year. We are also going to offer this round of 32 consolation for the 65's singles this year due to the increased number of players, which is great. As usual we will also have a first and second round loser consolation for both the 60's and 65's. Doubles consolations will be first match loser consolations.

**HOTEL INFORMATION**
Your Tournament room block is ready at Courtyard New Orleans Metairie. Please call reservations directly at 1-800-321-2211 or 504-838-3800 on or Before Friday September 28, 2018. Please identify yourself as part of the New Orleans Lawn Tennis group staying at the Courtyard New Orleans Metairie located at 2 Galleria Blvd., Metairie LA 70001. The room rate is $129.00 per night for a standard room.
The Best Western Plus St. Charles Inn has rooms blocked for the tournament. This hotel is located about 10 minutes from the club. The room rate is $189.00 for Friday and Saturday then the rate drops down to $135.00 per night through Thursday 10/25/18. Friday ,10/26/18, the rate goes to $169.00. These rates include a hot breakfast, free parking for one car, high speed wireless internet, all local calls and incoming faxes. The Best Western Plus St. Charles Inn is located at 3636 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70115 the phone number is 504-899-8888. The room block will be held up to 30 days prior to the start of the tournament, that date is September 20, 2018. Mention to the receptionist that you're playing in the National event at New Orleans Lawn Tennis Club.
The Hampton Inn also has rooms blocked. The hotel is 10minutes from the club on St. Charles Avenue. The room rate is $199.00 for Saturday the 22nd of October, then the rate drops to $139.00 per night through Thursday the 25th. Amenities at this hotel are free breakfast buffet and high speed Wi-Fi access as well as access to the Touro Fitness Center and a mini-fridge in each room. Parking is $15 per night. NOLTC Dress Code
NOLTC Dress Code is in effect. Traditional tennis attire is required. Only collared tennis shirts or shirts with the official NOLTC logo will be permitted on the court. NO shirts with any lettering or designs on the front or back is allowed even if the shirt has a collar. Clay court appropriate tennis shoes only. You will be provided with two acceptable shirts upon registration.

60's Prize Money Breakdown ($10,000 from Crabel Capital)
Singles: Champion $2,000; runner-up $1,500; 3rd $1,100; 4th $700; Quarter-finalists $350. Consolation Winner $200; runner-up $100. Doubles Teams: Champions $1,300; runners up $900; 3rd $600; 4th $200.

Match Schedule
Every effort will be made to have as many players play at least one match on the first day of the tournament, October 21st. This is the plan for every event. Obviously how this works out is determined by the number of participants in each event. If you happen to be seeded in both singles and doubles you may not play a match the first day.

Official Tournament Ball
We will be using the Wilson US Open regular duty ball for all matches.

Practice Courts
Practice courts will be available starting at 7:00am every morning on first come first serve basis.

ITF Sanction - Grade A National Championship. We will continue to use all factors seeding. Foreign players can obtain a free USTA account for entry by going to https://www.usta.com/en/home/account/create-account.html, or register directly with the tournament director. This tournament is sanctioned by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) as a national championship. Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. This tournament is a USTA CAT 1 National Championship and fulfills the eligibility requirement for USTA CUP selection. The Coman tiebreak will be used.

For Adult & Senior National Rankings: This tournament will calculate as a Category I (10x). Champions will receive 1000 points.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, October 7, 2018 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
