All draws have been re-scheduled for Saturday, given our rain delays tonight. CHECK YOUR DRAWS FOR YOUR NEW PLAY TIMES. It will be beautiful on Saturday - thanks for your patience tonight.

Weather Update Friday 7:15 pm
We are in a one hour delay - 6:00 matches have just gone back on court at 7:15. The rain is through the area, and we should be able to play all remaining Friday matches. The 7:30 matches should report at 8:30. Thank you for your patience! Come spend the evening with us - the beer is tapped and the snacks are out.

Change in Men's Open Doubles draw
Because the 4.5 men's doubles did not make, a team moved to the Open Doubles division, resulting in a change in that draw as of April 19, 8 am. Please check times carefully.

Point Penalty System
All USTA Georgia sanctioned events are run in accordance with the Rules of Tennis, including the Point Penalty System, found in the Friend at Court publication.

Draws and times posted
Draws and times have been posted for Friday and Saturday. If you don't see a time for your match it will be on Sunday.

Draws and seeds are now available. We are holding off on the scheduling for another 24 hours, because of the possibility of rain in Friday night's forecast. We will post scheduled times by 3 pm on Thursday, April 18.

Prize Money for Open Divisions
The Men's and Women's Open Divisions will offer Prize Money as follows: SINGLES 1st place $300, 2nd place $200, 3rd place $150, 4th place $100. DOUBLES CHAMPIONS $200 per team, DOUBLES FINALISTS $100 per team. These payouts assume draws have a minimum of 16 players. Prize money for smaller draws will be paid out proportionately, with details posted online at the close of entries. Likewise, if entries exceed 20 players, prizes will be increased proportionately as well.
Based on entries on April 17, the following adjustments will be made to the above schedule.
Men's Singles - as described above (19 entries)
Men's Doubles - $50 per team (winner) and $30 per team (finalist) (5 teams)
Women's Singles - $75 (winner) and $50 (finalist) (4 players)
Women's Doubles - n/a (did not make)
MIXED - $30 per team (winner)(2 teams)

Player Amenities - Saturday Lunch, Sunday Breakfas
All players will enjoy luncheon on Saturday (pasta station and salad bar, both featuring grilled salmon and grilled chicken), and a continental breakfast on Sunday. Lunch will be served at the pool pavilion, from 11 am until 1:30 pm. Breakfast will be in the member lounge, from 7 - 9 am. Guests are welcome, for $10 (lunch) or $5 (breakfast), payable in the tennis shop. Fruit and water are available for everyone, everyday. After noon daily, we break out the keg and salty snacks as well!

Match format
All matches will play a full two out of three sets, unless inclement weather should force any changes. Set tie-breaks will play a Coman format.

Healy Point Dress Code
Appropriate tennis attire and court shoes must be worn on court at all times. The Director of Tennis reserves the right to ask any member or guest to change attire if s/he feels that it violates the spirit of this policy. Directions to Healy Point
I-75, Exit 169, Arkwright Rd. At the end of the ramp, turn East. Carrabba's, Outback, and Waffle House should be on your right. Just around the curve, turn right into the River North community (River North Blvd). Tell the guard you are going to the Country Club. Continue 3 miles down River North Blvd. At the stop sign, turn right into Healy Point Country Club.

Traffic - alternative directions using Bass Road
I 75 is undergoing major construction at the Arkwright exit. To avoid delay, those coming from the north might consider exiting at Bass Road (#172). Turn left, crossing over the interstate. Continue thru the 4-way stop. Continue another .5 mile, crossing Riverside Drive (major 2-lane highway). Bass Road becomes Arkwright Road at that intersection. Continue 3 miles, and turn LEFT into River North subdivision. Drive 2.8 miles, turning RIGHT at the stop sign into Healy Point Country Club.

Avoidances
We will make every effort to accomodate any avoidance that is communicated to us in writing (email) prior to the close of entries PROVIDED THAT WE DO NOT HAVE INCLEMENT WEATHER DURING THE EVENT. An avoidance is defined as one 3-hour block of time per player or team. If you are in more than one event, you are still limited to one avoidance. Thank for understanding that accomodating your avoidance can greatly impact the schedule for all other players. Plan to block out the weekend and enjoy the tournament at Healy Point!
