IA Clinton National Junior Open

FROM THE WEST: Highway 30 when entering Clinton you will see a CULVERS and a REX appliance store on your right and a cementary on your left. At the stoplight, turn left. You now have the cementary on your let and TARGET on your right. Stay on this road for a long time. When you reach the 3rd stoplight, you should have BLUFF school on your right and KWIK STAR ahead on your right. Turn right at the stoplight(14 street). BLUFF school is now on your right and KWIK STAR is on your left. Go one block and turn left on 11th Avenue. At the stop sign (5-way stop), you should see CLINTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE. The tennis courts are directly across from the front of the college. FROM THE SOUTH: At the corner of 67/30 there is a stoplight. Go straight through ahead. You will have CLINTON NATIONAL BANK on your left and the FRONTIER MOTOR LODGE on your right. Stay on this road until you come to the stop sign. Turn right. Now follow the directions above beginning with, "stay on this road for a long time". FROM THE NORTH: Follow highway 67 through town. Look for the sign for Clinton High School and a PHILLIPS 66 GAS STATION. You turn right at the corner onf the PHILLIPS 66 STATION onto 8th Avenue South. Stay on 8th Ave. past CLINTON HIGH SCHOOL on your left. Take a left directly after seeing the football field. It is a quick left and then a right onto Lincoln Blvd. At the end of the 2nd block you will see CLINTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE on your left and the courts on your right. FROM THE EAST: You are on highway 30 coming over the bridge. Continue straight to the 2nd stoplight. There is a PHILLIPS 66 GAS STATION directly ahead on the right. Go straight through the stoplight. You are now on 8th Avenue South. Follow the directions from above "FROM THE NORTH". more info

Tennis Headquarters are located at the Max Lynn Tennis Center located at 1001 Lincoln Blvd.; across the street from Clinton Community College. more info

A 30 minute default rule will be used for all first round matches. A 15 minute default rule will be used for all subsequent matches. Players are responsible for knowing the time of their next match before leaving the tournament site. more info

If the tournament chairman determines that play must be moved indoors due to rain, indoor court fees will be shared by the players at a daily rate of $7.00 per person. more info

It is extremely important to both you and your opponents that seeding information be sent to the tournament committee so that we can make the draws as accurate as possible. Doubles Draws will NOT be done until the day of the event. We allow participants to sign up for doubles on site during the singles play in the morning. more info

Our tournament is unique in the fact that we run a "fun under 18 mixed doubles" event. This event begins at approximately 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 19th. You can sign up "on site" for this event. This is a non-santioned event. more info

16 and under boys and girls singles will begin promptly at 8:00 A.M. on Monday, June 18th. Participants should report to the tennis center no later than 7:45 A.M. more info

16 and under boys and girls doubles will begin at approximately 1:00 on Monday, June 18th. Remember this draw will not be made out until the morning of the 19th and that you can still get in the fun by signing up on site. more info

10 and under boys and girls singles; 12 and under boys and girls singles will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 18th at 10:00 A.M. Participants should arrive by 9:45 A.M. If there are not enough participants in the 10 division they will be placed in the 12 division. more info

10 and under boys and girls doubles; 12 and under boys and girls doubles will begin approximately at 2:00 P.M. on June 18th. If there are not enough participants in the 10 and under double events they will be moved into the 12 and under division. more info

14 and under boys and girls Singles will start on Tuesday June 19th at 8:00 A.M. Participants should check in by 7:45 A.M. more info

14 and under boys and girls doubles will begin at approximately 2:30 on Tuesday, June 19th. Participants may sign up on the day of the event in the AM. more info

18 and under boys and girls SINGLES will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 19th. Participants should arrive at tennis headquarters by 9:45 A.M. more info
