Player Registration: Players are welcome to check-in for the tournament at Sanlando Park on Wednesday, November 21 from 2-4:30pm. You do NOT have to check-in on Wednesday. Players can also check-in prior to their start time on Thursday. Please be sure to give yourself extra time if you are checking in on Thursday prior to your match…there may be a waiting line. SANLANDO PARK WILL CLOSE AT 5PM ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21ST DUE TO THE HOLIDAY ON THURSDAY!!

All players must have Medical Release Forms completed and signed by a PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN. Please be ready to present this form when you check in for the tournament. more info

All players need to sign-up for doubles at the tournament regardless whether you entered on-line. We will do the best we can to match players together that do not have a partner. Everyone must sign up by 12pm on Thursday, November 22.

Practice Courts will be available on Wednesday afternoon up until 5pm. Sanlando is a 25 court facility so there will be plenty of practice courts. SANLANDO PARK WILL CLOSE AT 5PM ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21ST DUE TO THE HOLIDAY ON THURSDAY!!

There will be 4 practice courts available each morning for the players playing after 8am. The practice courts will be available up until 11am each morning. There will be a sign-up clipboards on each of the practice courts. There will be four players per court for warm-up in 20 minute sessions. Please be courteous and sign-up once to give others an opportunity to warm-up for their matches. Players are responsible to sign-up for practice courts on Wednesday and Thursday morning.

The Alternate List is in order according of the national standing list in the age division entered. We are not allowed to use sectional standings AT ALL. This means, if a player does not have a national standing, he or she is randomly put in place on the list following those who do. I-4 East: take exit #92/436 in Altamonte Springs. Make a left on 436 and go 0.2 miles and make a right on Douglas Ave. Go 0.9 miles and make a left on W. Highland St. Sanlando Park is at the end of the street. I-4 West: Take exit #94 and turn right on 434 and go 0.2 miles and turn left on Markham Woods Rd which will turn into Douglas Ave. Continue on Douglas 0.8 miles and turn right on W Highland St. The park is at the end of the street. From the Orlando International Airport go North on 436 straight out of the airport. You will continue until you pass over I-4 in Altamonte Springs(20-30 minutes). Once you pass over I-4 you will make a right on Douglas Ave. Go .9 miles and make a left on W. Highland St. Sanlando Park is at the end of the street. IMPORTANT! Due to a new policy from the USTA’s legal department, tournament directors will no longer have access to phone numbers and email addresses of the tournament participants unless the player re-enters their contact information at time of event registration. This means that if a player does not enter their phone and email information each time they register for a tournament, the tournament director cannot contact them for any reason, including withdrawals, defaults, byes, rain delays, etc. Your cooperation will ensure that tournaments can continue to communicate necessary information to you. Thank you.

This BG12 National Open will NOT be played at the Orlando Racket and Fitness Club. The Club has been sold and the new owners closed the club effective October 1st, 2007 The tennis courts are expected to be bulldozed away before our starting date. The USTA has approved a change of venue to Sanlando Park, a Seminole County HARD court tennis facility less than 5 miles away. The new 25 court site is so near that there need not be any change in travel plans.

Withdrawal after Wednesday 11/14 You must email your withdrawal. Do not call to withdraw. Please document the reason for the withdrawal. No refunds after this date.
