Information for Alternates
The alternate list will be posted on Wednesday, October 31. (1) It is based on the 10/24/07 National Standing list, beginning with the 16's list, then the 14's list, and then those not on a national list. those players with the same ranking points were ordered by a drawing. (2) The Alternate List will be updated daily. (3) THOSE NEAR THE TOPOF THE ALTERNATE LIST SHOULD EMAIL THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR WITH A PHONE NUMBER(S) WHERE THEY CAN BE REACHED. Often, the phone numbers in the USTA database are out of date.

Withdrawls
Players withdrawing should notify Tounrament Director Jon Fischer by email at jfischertennis@aol.com. refunds will be made to those who withdraw before the draw is made.

Player Information Sheet
To obtain a Player Information Sheet, please email Tournament Director Jon Fischer at jfischertennis@aol.com, with the subject line "Player Information Sheet." This sheet will include info on schedule, hotels, practice courts, player meeting, first match times info, registration, etc.

Tournament Hotel
Our official Tournament Hotel is the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites - Central Campus, located at 3155 Boardwalk drive, just off State St at I-94, exit 177, less than a mile from the tournament's only site, the University of Michigan's Varsity Tennis Center. This is Ann Arbor's newest full service hotel. Rooms are $89 per night. Call 734-213-1900. ask for "USTA National Open."

General Information
Play schedule: Singles Rd of 64 and Doubles Rd of 32 on Thursday. Consolation begins on Friday. Singles Final and Consolation Final on Monday, 12 noon. Doubles will finish on Sunday. Doubles entries will be accepted through 12 noon on Thursday; confirm all doubles entries at registration. Registration is Wednesday, 4-9 pm at the Varsity Tennis Center. Player Meeting is Wednesday, 6 pm, at the Varsity Tennis Center First Match times will be available at the conclusion of the player meeting, or can be obtained by calling the Tournament Desk, 734-998-8742, from 7-9 pm on Wednesday.

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

4 players are selected for each site from the most recent National Standings List of the next lower age division and 28 players are selected for each site from the age division of the event
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, October 25, 2007 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
