We will be having a Mandatory Players Meeting at 5 pm on Wednesday at the Longfellow Club in Wayland. If you are coming in from out of town and cannot make it, we will continue to check in players until 9 pm.

The rate at the Boston Marriot Newton is $109 and the Marriot Courtyard is $105 plus applicable taxes. Be sure to identify yourself as a member of the Longfellow Club when making your reservations. Reservations must be made by Monday, Novmeber 12th, 2007.

Practice Courts
Practice Courts will be available for $30 an hour at both The Longfellow Club (508-358-7355) and at the Natick Racquet Club (508-653-4606) on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 AM until 10 PM. Reservations are required. Longfellow professionals are available to work out with your player for $80 per hour for individual and $48 per person for two players. Players will be limited to 1 hour on Wednesday to accomodate all the players. You may reserve your courts starting November 1st.

Match Format
The Match Format will be: Singles - best of 3 tiebreak sets. Doubles - 8 game pro set, tiebreaker at 8 games all. Good luck to all participants.

Doubles Entry Deadline
The Doubles Entry Deadline is Thursday, November 22nd at 5 pm. Please sign up and we will post all players who need partners.

Match Schedule
Matches will be scheduled as follows: Championship Singles play begins Thursday, November 22rd (2 Rounds of singles). Championship Doubles Begin on Friday, November 23th (2 Rounds of Doubles). Consolation Draw (through quarters) begin Thursday, November 22rd (1 round). A maximum of 2 rounds of singles will be scheduled each day. However, players entered in doubles must be prepared to play 4 matches each day (two singles and two doubles).

The Tournament is Played at Two Sites
Matches will be played at the Longfellow Club(Way on draw sheet) in Wayland and the Natick Racquet Club (NRC on the draw sheet) on Thursday and Friday. Only the Wayland site will be used from Saturday on. The clubs are 15 minutes apart. Directions will be available at check in.

Draws and Starting Times will be posted by Noon, November 14th
The Boys National Open Draw and Times will be posted by noon Thursday, November 15th. They have asked us to post 7 days before the tournament Thanks.

Thanksgiving Dinner Availability!
Here are some local places to enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner while you are at the tournament! I would recommend you make reservations. These places are near hotels, about 10-15 minutes from the club.

Babolat will be the Official String of the Boys 16 National Open at Longfellow. You can take $10 off any hybrid combo from Babolat or have your racquet strung with Pro Hurricane or Pro Hurricane Tour for $25.

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

4 players are selected for each site from the most recent National Standings List of the next lower age division and 28 players are selected for each site from the age division of the event
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, October 25, 2007 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
