IMPORTANT: PLAYERS CANNOT PLAY SINGLES IN ONE DIVISION & DOUBLES IN ANOTHER DIVISION. ALL DOUBLES TEAMS MUST RE-REGISTER AT THE PLAYER REGISTRATION. The doubles deadline is Friday, August 31, at 5:30pm with the draw/schedule being made following the registration. If you know your doubles teams, please e-mail IBaron@yellowtennisball.com before registration and we will pair you together (Important: make sure we reply back to you to confirm receipt of the e-mail).

Singles & doubles sign-in will be held at the Embassy Suites, Boca Raton from 3:30 - 5:30pm... IMPORTANT. Players unable to arrive at the Player Registration due to limited airline arrival times or delayed travel, must contact Ivan Baron as soon as possible - ibaron@yellowtennisball.com (confirm receipt of e-mail) OR (561) 330-6000. Directions: From I-95 Exit Yamato Road heading West. Cross over railroad tracks and take the first right onto NW 53rd Street. Hotel is on the right. (8-10 min. from all sites).

7—8:30pm. Held at the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center. Players are free, parents/siblings: $5 pp.

Each division will consist of a singles Modified Feed-In Draw (64) and single elimination doubles draw. All Main Draw singles matches will be the “best of 3 tie-break sets.” The format of the “Modified Feed In Consolation,” which consists of all first and second round losers in the Main Draw, will be “the best of 3 tie-break sets with a 10-point Match Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set.” The SINGLES draw & starting times will be posted Thursday, August 30...The doubles event is "single elimination" with matches consisting of an 8-game Pro-set. Both the singles and the doubles draws will have a 3rd/4th Playoff match. Doubles begins on Saturday, September 1 in the afternoon (not before noon)...All singles alternates (including doubles endorsed players) may call the tournament office for updates beginning Aug 14th...

We are proud to offer premier athletic training services. Domenic Pompile and his staff from Functional Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine will be available at the Delray Swim & Tennis Club, Broken Sound Country Club, and Hunters Run Country Club throughout the week with more extensive services available at their five locations between Coral Springs and West Palm Beach. If you have any specific needs you would like to address with the staff in advance, please send me an e-mail with your name, division, cell phone number and a description of your issue or question and we will forward to the team at Functional Rehabilitation.

IMPORTANT: If you have been selected into the Summer Smash Main Draw, you MUST withdraw your name from the Miami Designated, if not, you will be penalized. Due to the Designated taking place the same weekend as the Summer Smash, all players withdrawing after Friday, August 24th from our event will not receive a refund.

PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK THE DRAW (posted Aug. 30) & GO DIRECTLY TO THE SITE THAT YOU COMPETE AT. The event will take place at facilities in Delray Beach, Boca Raton, and Boynton Beach, which are approximately 5 - 15 minutes away from each other.

On or before Friday, August 31, call the match sites to reserve your courts - two persons per court, if courts are full, four persons per court. Saturday, Sept. 1 - Tuesday, Sept. 4, 10+ practice courts will be available 45 minutes before the first match at the each of the match sites, as well as 1-2 courts throughout the day (courts are 1st come, 1st serve). All sites begin match play at 8am, exept for Delray Swim & Tennis Club, which begins at 8:45am (no warm-up to begin before 8am, club rules)...A practice court sheet listing all facilities/times will be updated shortly as well as given out at the Player Registration (courts are 1st come, 1st serve).

The Summer Smash Regional Championships will be played on CLAYCOURTS and will award ONLY National points, not Florida sectional points as this is the inaugural year of the event. The event is a level three national event which means ALL PLAYERS MAY ONLY ENTER ONE AGE DIVISION...Good luck! more info
