Hotel Reservations
The official hotel for the tournament is Embassy Suites Hotel, 661 NW 53rd Street, Boca Raton, Florida 33487. The Suite room rate is $79.00 per night plus tax and includes a full cooked to order breakfast. MANDATORY PLAYER MEETING, REGISTRATION, & DOUBLES SIGN-UP
Registration for all players will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2005 from 12:00pm-12:45pm at the Embassy Suites Hotel followed by a mandatory meeting and orientation from 12:45pm-1:15pm. At this time, players will confirm their doubles partner and/or have the opportunity to find a doubles partner.

Opening Ceremonies
An Olympic style opening ceremony will be held Saturday, July 16th at 4:30pm (weather permitting) on court 11 at the Polo Club. Rehearsal for the ceremonies will be held at 3:45pm. ALL PLAYERS MUST wear white shorts/skirt and the official tournament t-shirt (provided during registration).

Car Reservations
The official tournament car rental is Avis Rental Cars. For special rates please call 1-800-331-1600 and reference USTA Girls 12 Clay Court Championships, discount code-J097694. Cars may be picked up from the Palm Beach International Airport (approx. 25 minutes driving time) or Fort Lauderdale International Airport (approx. 40 minutes driving time).

Player Camp
The Polo Club will host a warm-up camp featuring drills in the morning from 9:00am-11:00am and practice sets in the afternoon from 1:00pm-3:00pm begining on Thursday, July 14th-Saturday July 16th. The purpose of this camp is to familiarize players with the clay courts, the humidity and give all players an opportunity to play sets against each other. The fee is $60.00 per day (morning & afternoon sessions) or $40.00 per session. Please call the Polo Club Tennis Shop at 561-995-1260 to sign up.

Dress Code
Proper tennis attire is required at the Polo Club. Tennis themed t-shirts are acceptable and smooth soled tennis shoes are required for clay courts. White shorts or skirts are only required for the opening ceremonies.

Match Format
The tournament will host 128 players with the modified compass singles draw and a 64 single elimination doubles draw. There will be a 3rd/4th play-off for singles and doubles.

Practice Courts
Practice Courts are available Wednesday, July 13-Saturday, July 16 by calling the tennis shop at 561-995-1260. Starting Sunday, July 17 through the duration of the tournament, all practice courts will only be booked at the tournament desk on a first come-first served basis. Players having scheduled matches will be given priority. Court #'s 9-30, (west side of canal) will be open for practice Sunday, July 17-Saturday, July 23 from 7:00am-8:00am.

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

Players are selected from a designated Section or District ranking list.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, June 23, 2005 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
