SPORTSMANSHIP WINNERS!
Congratulations to our two sportsmanship winners, Jackson Caldwell (Seabrook, Texas) and Victoria Zaho (Houston Texas) were great fun off court with the event team and officials, but more importantly, they were outstanding on court. Congratulations, Jackson and Victoria!

DRAWS ARE POSTED:
As of 8:00 PM Saturday: The draws are posted, all singles matches will be 2 of 3 regular sets with no-ad scoring and 10 point tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set. The draws are scheduled for shots sets and we will make sure everyone gets adequate rest between matches.

TOURNAMENT IS CANCELLED FOR TODAY:
As of 4:45 PM on Saturday: The tournament is cancelled for today and all matches will be rescheduled for a 8:00 AM star on Sunday. Please check the draws late tonight for new match times. All your help today was greatly appreciated!!

As of 3:15 on Saturday: The rain is back and the courts are under water again. If your match was originally scheduled at 8:00 AM or 8:40 your new match time is 6:00 PM. If your match was originally scheduled for 9:00 AM to 10:40 AM your new match time is 7:15 PM.

As of 1:45 PM on Saturday: The storm has hit in full force, Arlington is under a flash flood warning and the courts are under water. Hopeful that this is the last round of rain. All matches are delayed for 8 hours from the originally scheduled time. The 8:00 AM matches are now scheduled for 4:00 PM.

As of 2:00 PM Friday: Looks like the rain will be coming through Arlington mid morning on Saturday and clearing out in the afternoon. The Arlington Tennis Center will be open at 6:30 AM on Saturday as we will play as many singles matches as possible before the rains.

ON SITE ALTERNATES
ON-SITE ALTERNATES (OSAs) MUST BE ON SITE TO SIGN IN. REMOTE 'SIGNING IN' IS NOT ALLOWED.
On-site Alternates (OSAs) may check in at the tournament desk on Saturday, May 18 the same time as the players check in for their first match at the tournament desk located in the proshop at Arlington Tennis Center.
Acceptance of Alternates in the tournament will be based on the original ordered list of Alternates, not a later NSL or the order in which the OSAs sign in. Players who sign in as on OSA, but who are not on the original ordered Alternate list, and who have not previously requested to be a Late Entrant, will be ordered by lot and placed as a Late Entrant.

USTA RELEASE
All players are required to complete a USTA Release before they are allowed to compete in the tournament. Print the form, complete it BEFORE checking in for the tournament, and turn it in at tournament check in.

DRAWS and FORMATS
Draws are 32 players in each division:
Singles: best 2 of 3 tiebreak sets with a Match Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set, regular scoring. Doubles: 8-game pro set with a tiebreak at 7-games all, no-ad scoring. The Singles Semi Finals, Finals and 3 & 4 Place will be chaired. The doubles Final will be chaired.There will be 1 USTA roving official for every 4 courts.

DOUBLES
Doubles Registration: All singles players are eligible to play doubles. Let us know if you are not listed in the doubles draw and want to play. The doubles will start at 8:00 AM on Saturday, if you need a partner send an e-mail to the tournament director James Helvey at James.Helvey@arlingtontx.gov Deadline for doubles registration is 12:00 noon on Friday May 17. Partnering and draws will be done Friday afternoon.

PRACTICE COURTS
All matches are planned to be played at Arlington Tennis Center. Friday at ATC the courts will be open for warmup from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. During the tournament ATC will open at 7:00AM each day for warmups.

NO REQUIRED FRIDAY REGISTRATION:
We do not have a mandatory check-in on Friday. Arrive 30 minutes prior to your first match time to complete the registration process.

Wilson US Open balls are the official ball for this tournament. Players will receive three new balls for each match.

The Appeals Committee consists of all of the above persons, with the exception of the Referee.
