**NEW INFO**DOUBLES PAIRING DEADLINE**DOUBLES PARTNERS
All doubles pairings must be completed and confirmed with tournament staff by end-of-day Monday, November 25.
Many players are looking for doubles partners. The website is up-to-date and will be updated with current pairings. Please review the competitor's list to confirm you have the correct partner listed and/or notify tournament staff who you would like to be paired with.
We hope to be able to pair all players who wish to play doubles. If you intend to play singles only, kindly send the tournament director a separate email explaining your intention.
Tournament staff intends to help connect players with one another in a timely manner, but with multiple requests and the inability to share contact info without consent makes this a time consuming process. Please be patient with tournament staff as they attempt to connect players with each other to pair up.
PRACTICE COURTS THANKSGIVING THURSDAY
Baseline Tennis Center will be open from 9AM-7PM Thanksgiving Thursday.
Courts can now be booked by calling the front desk at 612-625-1433. Courts are available at a rate of $28 per hour + applicable sales tax. Payment is due at the time of booking.
FRIDAY-MONDAY PRACTICE COURTS
Friday-Monday of the tournament, each player will receive an assigned practice court assignment prior to the start of play.
Each player will receive 25 minutes, on half of a court, with their doubles partner. Courts will be assigned no later than the evening prior to the next day of competition and will posted to this homepage. Warm-ups will be scheduled between 8-8:50AM each day.
ALTERNATES SELECTION PROCESS
Alternates are listed in order of the National Standings List (NSL) published October 30, 2019. Alternates are selected from this list, but not necessarily in order of their spot on the alternate list. Please review the "Selection Process" tab above to view how players were selected into this tournament.
Players that withdraw from the event that were selected due to their placement on the NSL will be replaced by the next highest ranked player on the NSL (ie the alternate list). Players who withdraw from the event that were selected from a section endorsement list, will be replaced by the next highest ranked player on the section endorsement list.
For example, if a player who was selected from the Northern Section's endorsement list withdraws for any reason, the next player on the Northern's endorsement list would be offered the spot. If the withdrawing player was selected due to their National Standing, then the top player on the alternate list would be offered a spot. Thus, a player lower on the alternate list from your placement could be selected into the event before you, based on how the withdrawing player was selected into the event.
Concurrent Entry Into Eddie Herr ITF and National Indoor Championships
The Eddie Herr ITF and the National Indoor Championships have overlapping dates, which makes them concurrent events. Players are permitted to register for both events (permission from both Tournament Directors is not required), but players may NOT participate in both events.
Players who registered for and are selected for both tournaments (qualifying or main draw) must notify the Tournament Committees of which tournament they would like to participate in by November 15th. Players who withdraw from one event to participate in the other after the date of November 15th , or who apply for and receive wildcards for one of the events and then subsequently withdraw from the other will be assessed suspension points for withdrawing to play in another tournament. Players may not participate in both events.
