Please note: Larger draw participants should be prepared to play as early as Thursday 5pm or later. Remember to check your draws for time and site location. Matches will be played at Val Vista Lakes and Gene Autry. The code for Val Vista Lakes is VVL. The code for Gene Autry is GA.

ATTENTION PLAYERS: Draws and schedules should be posted late Tuesday, August 9th or Wednesday Day, August 10th. The earliest first round matches will take place on Thursday, August 11th. Juniors entered in larger draws will be more likely to play their first round matches on Thursday evening. Please remember to check online to confirm your match times and tournament locations, (Gene Autry or Val Vista Lakes).

Val Vista Lake Tennis Club and Professional Tennis Management
Services and Val Vista Lakes Community Association would like to
welcome you to participate in First Annual Val Vista Lakes End of
Summer Junior Open (Level 6) scheduled August 11-14, 2016
(Thursday-Sunday).
Tournament players are welcome to participate in a maximum of (3)
events with the approval from the tournament director, (2) Singles
and (1) Doubles, or Mixed events, or (2) Doubles Events (Gender
Doubles and/or Mixed Doubles) and (1) Singles event. Singles events
are $42 each. Doubles events are $54 per team.
NOTE: The earliest matches will take place Thursday and/or Friday
after school hours generally for larger draw sizes. Val Vista Lakes
will serve as the Main Site for the Tournament and Gene Autry will
serve as overflow facility if needed. The abbreviation on draws for
Val Vista Lakes is VVL and the abbreviation on the draws for Gene
Autry is GA.
Val Vista Lakes address is 1600 East Lakeside Drive, Gilbert, AZ
85234. Take US 60 East to Val Vista Drive. Exit Val Vista Drive
(South). Take Val Vista Dr. South 2 traffic lights South of
Baseline Rd. Turn left (East) onto Lakeside Drive and make an
immediate left (North) into the parking lot. The clubhouse and
courts are to your right, (East side).
The address for Gen Autry Sports Complex is 4125 East McKellips
Road, Mesa, AZ 85205. Gene Autry is located on McKellips Rd. just
West of Greenfield Rd. Take US 60 East to Val Vista Drive. Exit
North on Val Vista Drive. Take Val Vista Drive North to McKellips
Road. Turn right, (East) on McKellips Road and continue East toward
Greenfield Road. Gene Autry will be on the right side of the road,
(South) before you get to Greenfield Road.

site so please also utilize GPS, Google Maps, and or MapQuest.

Please NOTE: Draws and schedules should be posted online on Tuesday
evening or Wednesday day.
To encourage play the format for all singles and doubles divisions
is First Match Consolation, ensuring that everyone has an
opportunity to play at least two (2) matches per event.
Main Draw Singles matches will play the best of three sets with a
Match Tie break in lieu of a third set. Consolation matches will an
8 game pro set format.
Doubles will consist of an 8 game pro set.
Refreshments and Drinks will be provided throughout the tournament
and we will be hosting a FREE Player Pizza Party on Saturday August
13th either from 11am-1:30pm or from 5:30-8pm depending on whether
or not their are matches scheduled on Saturday evening. Gift
certificates and discount packages will also be available.
Bathroom Locker room and shower facilities are available for all
tournament players. Please bring your own towel as towels are not
provided
