2016 Palm Springs International Individual Tennis Championship at Palm Desert Resort Country Club

The Palm Springs Tennis Championships is a three day weekend tennis tournament held at the beautiful 14 court tennis complex at Palm Desert Resort Country Club and 10 Court tennis complex at Cathedral Canyon Country Club. This is event held in Palm Springs California, March 11-13, 2016.

Our goal will be to have all Individual tournament matches scheduled and tol be played at either 730am, 9am, or 1030am daily and completed by 1230 pm each day.


That way you will still have plenty of time to go and see the pros play at the BNP Paribas Open. Yes that's right The Palm Springs ITC tournament dates coincide with the the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, which is now the fifth largest professional Men's and Women's tennis tournament in the world.

The BNP Paribas Open is held every spring in this beautiful California desert location. The Tournament Facility: Palm Desert Resort Country Club is located in the Palm Desert / Palm Springs region of Southern California. Palm Desert boasts sunny skies and average temperatures in the mid 80's for the month of March.

There is an international airport just 15 minutes from Palm Desert, and the club is just a short two hour drive from San Diego, Orange County or Los Angeles airports. There are no restrictions to qualify, such as having to win a an individual International qualifier or National USTA qualifier sectional, regional, or national event . We are providing all players the opportunity to play in an incredible destination tennis tournament with national and international competition while coming to Indian Wells to watch the professionals play the same weekend.

This is an Open and NTRP individual tournament . All singles and doubles players will be guaranteed at least two matches in all divisions of play, Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. All Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles Matches will be played using scoring format of 2 sets and 10pt Super Tie-Breaker in lieu of 3rd set.. Individual Entry Fee for singles is: $58 per person, for doubles it is $50 per person and for additional doubles (Mixed doubles) it's $50 per person.

It it not a prerequisite that players or doubles teams have participated in USTA tournaments or league play or local or sectional events before. We welcome players from all over the world; all the 48 states, plus Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico, and internationally from Canada, Mexico, Carribbean, Central & South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, March 1, 2016 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
