SINGLES DRAWS ARE UP
We had some top seed withdraws which delayed posting of the singles draws but they are up now. Doubles will be posted on Friday. This is in following with USTA National guidelines that don't allow us to post earlier.
Please check the draws carefully for your time and site designation. Unfortnately, we were unable to fit in the first round of the G14s at Natomas as we had originally planned so their FIRST ROUND ONLY will be played at Rio del Oro. A link follows this paragraph with directions. It is approximately 15 minutes between sites and again, this is for the first round only and I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

Please save us both some time by printing, filling out, parent signature (unless player is 18 and then they can sign their own). It is especially important for those players not traveling with their parent to do this ahead of time.

DOUBLES PLAYERS BEING ADDED NOW
NOTE TO MAIN DRAW PLAYERS: Notify me via email by FRIDAY, JUNE 21 at 6PM PST if you wish to be added to doubles. After that, any doubles spots available will be offered to online alternates first and then late alternates.
You can email me with partner designations...please confirm that person you are asking to partner with has agreed. As a reminder, any players who are unpaired at the time we do doubles seeding/draws will be randomly paired as a team and once this is done, no changes can be made.
If there are any players on the alternate list who wish to play doubles only, let me know and I'll add you if we have space in your division. However, please note that you must pay the same registration fee for doubles only and the format is an 8 game pro-set, single elimination.

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
The Zero Tolerance Policy below, along with the USTA Point Penalty System will be strictly enforced. We want everyone to enjoy great competition in a sportsmanlike manner while having a fun tournament. Please respect the game, the rules, our facilities, our staff, and each other.
SPARE TIME ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
All tournaments run by Spare Time Clubs have a Zero Tolerance policy regarding parents, coaches & spectators displaying or perceived to be displaying inappropriate and disruptive behavior. If inappropriate behavior is displayed or perceived, the match will be stopped by tournament officials when the parent/coach/spectator displaying inappropriate and disruptive behavior interferes with other spectators or participants of the game. Officials will identify violators for the purpose of removing them from the viewing/game area and possible removal from the facility. Once removed, play will resume. Violators will be reported to the USTA. This inappropriate and disruptive behavior shall include but not be limited to:
~Using obscene or vulgar or gestures in a boisterous manner to anyone at anytime.
~Taunting players, officials or other spectators by means of baiting, ridiculing, threatening physical violence or physical violence.
~Coaching players outside of allowable times.
Violators will be escorted from the facility and not allowed to return until the next day or banned from the entire event, if approved by the tournament committee, club and/or facility management. We are private facilities and reserve the right to refuse entrance to anyone into our facilities.
“It’s just a game…let the kids play”
A NOTE FROM OUR REFEREE, Carol Kim
Welcome to all players and thank you for playing. There will be USTA certified officials at all sites. Players are responsible for their matches while on court and if there is a concern or problem that you cannot resolve with your opponent, you must come off court and find an official to help you. You should let an official or the desk know if you have to leave the court for any reason, including a bathroom break. There is a 10-minute authorized rest period between a second and full third set, and a 3-minute authorized rest period between second set and a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a third. Coaching is permitted during both authorized rest periods, but should be done off-court or at the back fence. The point penalty system will be in effect for lateness and for all inappropriate behavior - we anticipate good sportsmanship from all players and their associated parents, coaches, and spectators. National suspension points will be filed in accordance with the rules for all codes, as well as for pre- and post-match sportsmanship issues for players and their associated spectators.
