DIRECTIONS TO COUNTRY CLUB OF COLUMBUS

Take I-185 to Exit 7(Manchester Expressway). Turn West onto Manchester Expressway. Travel approximately 1 mile and turn left onto Woodruff Road. Travel through the intersection at Warm Springs Road. Turn right on to Camille Dr. (This street stops at Cherokee Avenue, make a right onto Cherokee.) The entrance to the Country Club of Columbus will be on your left.
Practice courts are available before 7:30am at The Country Club of Columbus any day of the tournament. Cooper Creek will have courts available before 7:30 am. After 9:00 am YOU MUST RENT A COURT AT COOPER CREEK by going in the Tennis Building and being assigned a court. PLEASE abide by this request. There are courts at Lake Bottom Park (hard courts) that are first come first serve. the club will have practice courts on Friday until 9pm. With this many players it is difficult to have practice courts available for evryone. Thanks for you cooperation.
Doubles will start the first day of the tournament. You must have your doubles partner midnight of Wednesday June 16th. Both players must confirm with the tournament director via e-mail that they agree to be partners. Tournament Director will not pair partners.
We have included a Facebook page to help you locate other players. Please do not put any personal information on the page. Both you and your partner must confirm with the tournament director through email, firstname.lastname@example.org by the deadline.
If you have a partner when you are signing up for the tournament you may enter that partner as you normally would. You do not need to send an email if you sign up for doubles with a partner through USTA.
Check in for tournament is between 5-7pm Friday, June 25th. You can Check-in Saturday, June 26th an hour before your match. All check-in is at the Country Club of Columbus(CCC). Make sure you give yourself enough time because we are playing at two sites, Country Club of Columbus(CCC) and Cooper Creek Park (CCP)
Please bring a signed medical release form with you to turn in at check in. You cannot play without having this release form.
NO LATE ENTRIES
Please give yourself enough time to register for the tournament. Do not wait until the last minute and get locked out by the computer. It does happen every year and I don't want anybody left out because of poor planning.

Scoring format: Singles: Main draw - Regular scoring (2 out of 3
sets), Consolation - 2 out of 3 sets with 3rd set match tie-break;
Doubles - 8-game pro-sets with a match tie-break at 8-all. STATE
CHAMPIONSHIP - This is a State Championship tournament.
No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, June 14, 2010 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
