Tournament Desk technology to help facilitate CDC best practices.
In order to compete in this event, all competitors MUST click the below link

STRINGING ROOM by SOLINCO
We have our pro stringer Kin Roseborough in charge of all the tournament
stringing. He is set up from Friday afternoon on at LTP-Mount Pleasant and the
charge for labor is $22 per racquet. Kin is the official stringer at our WTA
Volvo Car Open and also our $100K, $60K and Girls' 18 National.He
will take care of all your stringing needs!
TOURNAMENT COVID RULES
Players will be called
to court through Match Tennis App.
Please look for all markings on the ground
with directions for social distancing.
Players must wear face coverings while not playing. If you go to the restroom
you must wear a mask to and from the restroom.
All Guests will be required to wear a face covering at all times while around
Once your match is finished you must leave facility with in 10 minutes of match
finishing. This is for the safety of everyone.
Any areas with caution tape marking the area are not to be crossed. Please do

Player Spectator Guidelines/Recommendations •
If warm-ups are permitted at a facility: o Limit number of players on a
court to 2. o Limit warm up to 30 minutes if others are waiting.

Residency Policy- USTA Southern
Players must be a resident of USTA Southern. This is defined as individuals who
have established a legal residency in one of nine states of USTA Southern whose
geographical boundaries are determined by USTA Southern. Legal residency for
juniors is that of his/her legal supporting parent(s). Individuals must be United
States citizens or permanent resident aliens.
All players must have a copy of a Birth Certificate or Green Card on file in
the Southern office. If players want to check if their Birth certificates are
on file, they must call Southern Office or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
USTA Southern office
will provide the tournament director with a Selection List for the
tournament.These are the results from the most recently publicized USTA
Southern Combined Standing Lists in order in which the player appears on the
list. These lists are usually sent one or two days after entries close.
Seedings must be done off the most up to date Standing list. In numerical
Playing & Scoring Format
128 draw for both single divisions with Feed In through the round of 16
with Quarterfinal Playoff. The quarterfinal losers automatically go into their
own back draw. The four losers will play and the two winner for 5th and 6th.
The 7th & 8th do not play.
Doubles will be a 64 draw and will start on Saturday. Single Elimination with a
3/4 playoff. 6 game set with a tiebreak at 6-6. Main Draw Singles is the best 2
out of 3 sets. Consolation Singles & Quarterfinal Playoffs will be two tie
break sets with a 10 point match break in lieu of the third set.
In case of rain the format would change at the discretion of Southern Section.

RETURN TO PLAY RECOMMENDATIONS USTA JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS Updated May 28,
2020 The United States Tennis Association (USTA) recognizes that the COVID-19
pandemic has been affecting different parts of the country in different ways
and with different timing. Therefore, we believe safely returning to play will
be possible in some cities and states sooner than in others. Before doing so,
please review federal, state and local guidelines to make informed decisions as
to when play can recommence. In addition to the Playing Tennis Safely
recommendations for players, facilities, and programming issued by the USTA on
April 22, 2020, available on tennisindustryunited.com, here are some additional
recommendations to consider when hosting a USTA Junior Tournament.
Check with the host facility ahead of time for any protocols that may apply at
Arrive at the facility close to assigned start time, ready to play, and depart
Bring their own water bottles, towel, or any other personal equipment and store
them inside their tennis bag when not in use.
Bring their own chairs and avoid sharing a bench with a teammate and/or
Use headbands, hats, towels or wristbands to avoid touching their faces during
Wash hands often (before / after matches.)
Clearly verbalize score at the start of each point and use technology to report
scores (email or text).
Maintain safe physical distance between players during the racquet spin at the
start of a match.
Maintain physical distancing if changing ends of the court.
Offer an acknowledgment such as a nod, a thumbs up or a “good match” instead of
shaking players’ hands.
Draws, seeds and times will be published 3:30 pm Thursday September 3rd.
After the deadline, you may email email@example.com to sign up late. Depending on
entries, you will be placed in the tournament or on the alternate list. There
is a $25 fee for late entries.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, August 23, 2020 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
