Welcome!
This is an intermediate-level tournament sanctioned by USTA
Georgia as a Level 4 (Southern Level 5 points). Registration must be completed
online.T-shirts to all participants.
Boys and Girls registered for 12 and under division will play on a full court with yellow balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under
that are eligible
for green balls in Youth Progression will play on a full court with
green dot balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for orange balls or
new to Youth
Progression will play on a 60’ court
with orange balls.
USTA Georgia tournaments do not offer Orange Level 2
divisions.
Player selection
This tournament is open for junior players regardless of
ranking. You will receive an automated email if your player is selected and
your credit card is charged.
Late Entry - Full policy stated below. A late fee of $10 may be charged.
Draws
Draws will be published by Thursday at 5 pm. It is your
responsibility to check this tournament web page for the player draws, match
times and any other updates.
Format
Limit 16 draw except when there are no League Matches.
FMLC. 3rd and 4th place playoffs. Some consolations may
not finish. Match times and tournament information can be accessed online at
least 48 hours before the first scheduled match. Awards to winner, finalist and
consolation winner and finalist.
All boys/girls
12-18's matches will be two sets with a match tie-break (10 point tie-break) in
lieu of a third set. All 10's matches will be two short sets (sets to 4 games).
If sets reach 3-3 you must win by two games, example: 5-3. If sets reach 4-4 a
set tie-break will be played. (7 point tie-break). If the players split sets
then a 7 point match tie-break will be played in lieu of a third set. This is in accordance
with USTA Georgia regulations. All boys/girls 12-18's doubles will be an 8 game pro-set; boys/girls 10's will play a 6 game no ad pro-set.

director.
No refunds for
withdrawals after the tournament deadline.

Southern Orange Ball 10 & Under Changes
Please note that starting January 2020 USTA Southern’s Youth Progression has changed from offering 2 levels of Orange ball to only one level of Orange ball - Orange Level 1. Players will now start at Orange Level 1 and progress to Green Level 1 then to Mission Complete/Yellow Ball. Youth Progression point distribution has also changed. See here for more info:

GEORGIA LEVEL 4 TOURNAMENT. Boys/Girls 10's must play on a 60'
court with 25" rackets and use low compression balls. Boys/Girls 12
& Under divisions will use stage 1 green/green dot balls on a
78' court for Level 4 & 5 tournaments. Draw limited to 16 for
Singles & 8 for Doubles. Scoring format for BG12-18: Singles -
2 sets with a 3rd set match tie-break Doubles - 8-game pro-sets.
Scoring format for BG10s will be 2 out of 3 short sets with no-ad
scoring (sets to 4 games) with a 7-point tie-break for the 3rd set
. Doubles scoring format for BG10s will be 6-game no-ad set with a
seven (7) point "Match" tie-break played at 6-all. All matches will
be played indoor/outdoor hard courts. Alternate site may be used.
T-shirts. CHAMPIONSHIP - Open to all players regardless of
ranking.
LATE ENTRANTS - USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into all USTA GA tournaments, Levels 4-5, in the event that the draw is not full, provided that such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration. Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late entries

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, April 15, 2020 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
