Qualifier for Jekyll Banana Open
This tournament is a qualifier for the GA State Banana Open in Jekyll Island held October 1-4, 2020.. We look forward to having everyone play!!

Tournament Update
This tournament will take place at John Drew Smith Tennis Center. Each participant will sign a waiver understanding the effects of COVID 19.

Player Gift
We will have a player gift for each participant.

Scoring
All matches will be 2 tiebreak sets with a 10 point match tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set. Be prepared to play 2 rounds in each division you play per day. This will depend on the draw size.

Clubhouse rules
Please do not bring any spectators. We want to keep the amount of people at the site to a minimum. We will not allow anyone in the building unless they are using the bathroom. Tournament Desk will be outside. We will have hand sanitizer and maintenance staff to clean the facility frequently. Please bring your own Water and Ice. We will not have ice service during the tournament.

Notes
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members.
This is a GA Level I State Championship which awards the highest
USTA Georgia standing/ranking points. In addition, players receive
Southern (STA) points. For more information, review the USTA
Georgia Adult Regulations at
http://www.ustageorgia.com/adults/tournaments_adult.htm. No refunds
are given after entries close EXCEPT in the event of inclement
weather. Should all matches rain out (the entire tournament), we
will refund all fees in excess of our fixed costs incurred in the
planning stages for the tournament, which include player gifts,
some staff costs (TD, Referee), purchased food, administrative fees
paid to USTA GA. Balls can be used later, and some labor costs are
saved if a tournament rains out. Savings for trophies varies - some
are engraved and cannot be recycled, while others have removable
plates that we can re-use. The actual amount of refunds or credits
will be noted on the tournament homepage if applicable.

Sanctioned
NTRP tournaments will now count toward s player’s “computer” rating at year-end
(used for league play) and NTRP tournament-only players will generate a
tournament exclusive (‘T’) rating after playing 3 or more tournament matches.
