Welcome!
This is a Georgia State Championship, an advanced-level
tournament sanctioned by USTA Georgia as a Level 2 (Southern Level 5 points) for 10 and under players only. Junior suspension point system in effect. Registration
must be completed online. In the future, you can jump straight to this

Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for green balls in Youth
Progression will play on a full court with green dot balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for orange balls or new to Youth Progression will
play on a 60’ court with orange balls.
USTA Georgia tournaments do not offer Orange Level 2
divisions. All players that register for Orange 2 will be automatically moved
to Orange 1 before the draws are posted.
Youth Progression
(for children ages 7-10)
If this is your child’s first time playing a tournament,
please email Eva Marie McCravy (mccravy@ustageorgia.com) or Susan Pierce (pierce@ustageorgia.com)
to activate their USTA number in the Youth Progression program. For more

Player selection
This tournament is open only to junior players whose parents
have established a legal residency in Georgia, hold a current USTA membership
card assigned to Georgia, and who are citizens of the United States or meet the
resident alien requirements for a national ranking.
Late Entrants
USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into
all USTA GA tournaments in the event that the draw is not full, provided that
such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late
entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any
circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament
Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration.
Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late
entries.
Draws
Draws will be published by Thursday at 5 pm. It is your
responsibility to check this tournament webpage for the players’ draws, match
times and any other updates.
Format
The draws are
limited to 32 using the Waterfall system to split the entrants into two draws
of 16, with a full FIC and 3/4 playoff in the main draw. Consolation Singles
Scoring will be the best of 2 sets with a Match Tie-Break in lieu of the third
set. In the event of inclement weather and alternate scoring system may be
used.
Withdrawals and
Refund Policy
Before the
deadline, withdraw through TennisLink. After the deadline, email the tournament
director. No refunds for withdrawals after the tournament deadline.
