Friday match times are online for those events having Friday play. Boys 16's, 14's and 12's begin play on Friday. Please check in at the tournament desk at least 30 minutes before scheduled match. If you do not see a time for your match it is because you begin play on either Saturday or Sunday. Those times will be posted on Wednesday afternoon.

When Draws are made available, please make sure you check your draw
times periodically for time changes and please arrive at PTC a
minimum of 30 min prior to your scheduled match to help the
tournament remain on time. Make sure that your contact number with
the USTA is accurate in case we need to reach you or when checking
in for the first time, you can provide a cell phone number for
contact during the tournament.
Please be advised: if you have NOT declared what "Ball
Progression" level you are for PNW USTA Tournaments (ie; Orange
Ball, Green Ball, yellow ball), and you receive an error message
that does not allow you to sign up for our 10& under green dot
division, you need to contact:

Welcome to Portland Tennis Center! We are located at 324 NE
12th Ave. Portland, Oregon 97232, right across the street from
Franz Bakery and next to Benson High School. PTC is a beautiful 12
court tennis facility with 8 indoor hard courts and 4 outdoor hard
courts.
Tournament Details: We are excited to again host our Fall
Classic USTA Sanctioned Intermediate tournament at PTC. We hope
that those have attended previous Intermediate level tournaments
here have enjoyed themselves and are signing up again for this
year! Our Tournament will run September 13 - 15, Friday through
Sunday, and matches will begin on Friday, September 13 at
approximately 4pm, with the exception of our 10 & under green
dot ball division, which will play a one day non-elimination Round
Robin Format on Sunday, September 15th.
Our 10 & under green dot ball "Singles Only" division will use
a best 2 out of 3 sets, first to 6 games, no ad set scoring format,
using a 10 point super tie-breaker in lieu of a third set.
Our 12-18 boys/girls divisions have just singles events with a
first match loser consolation format.
We will have USTA officials for the tournament and matches will be
observed throughout the tournament.
Saturday Lunch: We will provide a complimentary healthy lunch
to all our tournament participants on Saturday (approximately 11:30
- 3:00), with a fee of $5.00 for adults/$3.00 for children (12
& under) for additional family members or guests.
Scoring Format: for 12-18 boys/girls divisions, PTC will be
using the traditional no-add scoring system, with a 7-point
tiebreaker used at 6-6 and a 10-point super tie breaker system to
determine the 3rd set in lieu of a 3rd set for main draw matches.
Consolation matches with play an 8-game pro set with a 7-point tie
breakers system used at 8-8 to determine the match winner.
Awards: Awards will be handed out for winners and finalists in
both the main draws and the consolation brackets.
Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, September 8, 2019 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
