Players should check in and be ready to play (warmed up, stretched, etc) at least 15 minutes before the match start time. If a court is open, we will get the match started asap in order to avoid any delays later in the day!
Rules and Code of Conduct for players, parent, and coaches
All USTA rules governing play and conduct will be strictly enforced.
It is the participants responsibility to know what time they play, be on time for their match, follow the tennis attire dress code, have proper tennis equipment, and all necessary supplies to play their tennis match.
Default time - Players failing to report at the tournament desk when called will be subject to USTA default rules.
All players shall dress and present themselves for play in tennis attire and wear appropriate footwear for tennis courts.

MAS Regulations and Ranking Points
This tournament operates in accordance with the rules and guidelines listed in USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations and USTA Friend at Court. Players are eligible to earn ranking points from this event based on the point tables found in the USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations. Points are awarded based on the level of the tournament and the draw format. Main draw and consolation points may vary based on the draw format used.

USTA Non-Member players are invited to play in Mid-Atlantic Entry Level Tournaments such as this one. MAS Entry Level Tournament (ELT) LEVEL 7 TOURNAMENT QUALITIES
Recommended for entry level players with some competition experience.
Individual divisions are played to completion in 1-Day. If a tournament includes Singles & Doubles, the Doubles may be played on a 2nd day.)
Up to 3 Matches Per Day:
Best 2 of 3 Sets, Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd Set. 8 game pro-sets, Super set matches to 6, tiebreak at 6-6.|
Up to 4 Matches Per Day:
Best 2 of 3 Short Sets, Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd Set. 8 game pro-sets, Super set matches to 6 or Timed Matches |
Up to 5 Matches Per Day:
SuperSet Matches to 6, Or Timed Matches.
Outdoor Season (mid-March thru October): Non-Elimination / 3-Match Guarantee Recommended (RR, Compass), 2-Match Guarantee Required (FIC)

GREEN DOT BALL IN 12U L8 AND L7
BG12 Divisions in all MAS L7 & L8 tournaments shall use Green Dot tennis balls. 10U Green level 1 players are eligible to play 12U MAS L7 & L8 tournaments and also earn stars/trophies toward clearing the youth progression
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
