The size of the draws will determine which days each draw is
scheduled. Due to the size of the tournament and the number of
requests for special accommodations for starting times, we cannot
and will not be able to accommodate any special requests for start
times or for which days or times you play. Please be aware of
this when registering.
Also, please be aware that there is an event in downtown Leesburg
the weekend of this tournament. Downtown Leesburg (Business Rt 7)
will be closed. Please use Battlefield Parkway to access King
Street, into Ida Lee Park.
From Winchester, follow Rt 7 to 15 Bypass towards Frederick MD, go
past the outlets. Make a left onto Battiefield Parkway. Follow
Battlefield to the light at the end of this road, make another
left. Ida Lee is on the right, about .5 miles down the road.
From Sterling, follow Rt 7 until you come upon the 15 Bypass exit
toward Frederick, MD. Take that exit, then go past the outlets,
make a left onto Battlefield Parkway. Follow Battlefield to the
light at the end of this road, make another left. Ida Lee is on the
right, about .5 miles down the road.

MAS Regulations and Ranking Points
This tournament operates in accordance with the rules and guidelines listed in USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations and USTA Friend at Court. Players are eligible to earn ranking points from this event based on the point tables found in the USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations. Points are awarded based on the level of the tournament and the draw format. Main draw and consolation points may vary based on the draw format used.

MAS Entry Level Tournament (ELT) LEVEL 7 TOURNAMENT QUALITIES
Recommended for entry level players with some competition experience.
Individual divisions are played to completion in 1-Day. If a tournament includes Singles & Doubles, the Doubles may be played on a 2nd day.)
Up to 3 Matches Per Day:
Best 2 of 3 Sets, Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd Set. 8 game pro-sets, Super set matches to 6, tiebreak at 6-6.|
Up to 4 Matches Per Day:
Best 2 of 3 Short Sets, Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd Set. 8 game pro-sets, Super set matches to 6 or Timed Matches |
Up to 5 Matches Per Day:

Outdoor Season (mid-March thru October): Non-Elimination / 3-Match Guarantee Recommended (RR, Compass), 2-Match Guarantee Required (FIC)

GREEN DOT BALL IN 12U L8 AND L7
BG12 Divisions in all MAS L7 & L8 tournaments shall use Green Dot tennis
balls. 10U Green level 1 players are eligible to play 12U MAS L7 & L8
tournaments and also earn stars/trophies toward clearing the youth progression
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
