Player Check In and Medical Release Waivers
The tournament desk will be located on the concourse level behind court #1 and will be ready for player check in by 7:30AM Saturday. Players must check in prior to their first match. In the hopes of speeding up check in, we ask players to try and check in prior to their warm-up court assignment when possible. A medical release waiver will need to be completed to participate in the event. Players 18 years of age may sign the waiver for themselves. All players under 18 must have a parent signature. Player gifts will be given after the medical release waiver is received. Release waivers will be available Friday at the front desk and Saturday at the tournament desk.

On-Site Alternates
If you plan to be an on-site alternate. Please announce yourself via email to the tournament director with your intentions. On-Site alternates must physically check in at the tournament desk prior to 8:30AM Saturday to be eligible to participate. On-Site Alternates will be accepted into the event only if a spot is available in singles or doubles and will be ordered based on the alternate list published to the tournament homepage. Alternates must meet the check in deadline on site at Baseline Tennis Center to be considered to participate in the event. Alternates will be expected to pay the full entry fee if accepted into the event (even if it is only to play doubles).

GOPHER FOOTBALL - SATURDAY - PARKING
There is a scheduled Gopher Football game against Nebraska on Saturday, October 12 (6:30PM Kickoff).
If you are driving to the tennis center, we advise you do not move your car from any parking structures after 12PM. Ramps, lots and general parking will be switched over to "event and reservation parking only," around Noon for football game-day parking. Baseline does not have sponsored or private parking. Baseline does not validate parking.
Parking and commuting to the tennis center will be extremely difficult, even before 8a when most of you will be
arriving.
If you are staying at the tournament hotel or another hotel
nearby, please consider walking or taking a hotel shuttle to the tennis
center. If you are coming from a further distance away, please plan for
a longer commute and to make use of car services such as Uber, Lyft,
taxis and hotel shuttles.
If you must drive, please plan for a longer
commute and consider dropping players off at the front door and finding
parking elsewhere. Campus will be congested even at the early hours of
the day, and almost all parking around the tennis center is by
reservation only. We understand this is a huge inconvenience on day 1 of our tournament, but is out of our control.
Once you are parked at the Tennis Center, it is strongly suggested you do not leave your parking spot. Most spots become occupied during your absense, and parking reservations are not available to the Tennis Center, its staff and tournament players.
Please click "more info" below for the University's Parking and Transportation calendar for more details.

DOUBLES PARTNER - DOUBLES ENTRIES
All players in the draw are assumed to be playing doubles and will be paired up as advised.
If you are planning to play singles only, kindly send an email to tournament staff. We do our best to update doubles partners on the homepage as timely as possible. With often several requests per day, we appreciate your patience in updating partners online.
Due to data privacy, we do not release other player's contact information when requested. We will consistently try to put interested partners in touch, withdrawals and partner changes make this a moving puzzle. Please know that we will pair everyone playing doubles with someone else if possible and will not make that draw until after the mandatory players meeting and check in. In case of an odd number, we would hope there would be an on-site alternate to fill that spot.

PARKING AROUND THE TENNIS CENTER
Due to the close proximity of the Baseline Tennis Center to 4 major athletic venues, parking may be at event rates (up to $10.00/car) with no in/out privileges. Metered parking is available behind the building at $1.25/hr as available. Please consider carpooling, walking a longer distance, etc. to minimize the impact of these events.
