TUESDAY PRACTICE COURT ASSIGNMENTS
Court assignments reflect outdoor and indoor court assignments. The first court number is outdoors, the second court number is for indoors in case of rain or wet courts. Players will be expected to share 4 players to a court.
If there is no rain, the indoor courts will be available for warm-up throughout the tournament. If there is rain, there will be no courts available on site for warm-up throughout the day.
Warm up courts are not mandatory. The courts are simply scheduled as a convenience for players to warm up for the day.
Courts 11-18 and 1-6 will be available for warm up from 8-850am.

SCHEDULE OF PLAY
Saturday: Doubles Round of 32 will begin at 9a. Singles Round of 64 will begin approximately 10AM (dependent on player
availability). Singles round of 32 and consolation round 1 will follow.
Sunday:
Doubles Round of 16 will begin at 9a. Doubles quarterfinals will
follow. Main draw singles round of 16, Quarterfinals, consolation round 2 and 3 will
follow doubles (beginning also at 9a, as player availability allows).
Monday:
Doubles Semifinals will begin at 9a. Singles semifinals, 5/6th playoff semifinal, consolation round of 16 and
consolation quarterfinals will start at 9a as player availability
allows.
Tuesday: Doubles Finals and 3rd/4th playoff will begin at
9a. Singles finals, 3rd/4th playoff, 5/6th playoff final, consolation
semifinal and consolation final (no 7th/8th playoff will be played) will
start at 9a as player availability allows.

MATCH AND DRAW FORMAT
• Singles Matches: Full feed in through R16; Best 2 out of 3 sets, with a 10-point tiebreak in lieu of a full 3rd
• Doubles Matches: Single elimination (playoff for 3rd & 4th Place); 8 Game Pro Set with a 7-Point Tiebreak at 8 games all; No-ad scoring
Consolation is mandatory and will be played to completion.

SATURDAY-TUESDAY PRACTICE COURTS
Each player receives 25 minutes, on half of a court, each day prior to the start of play. Courts will be assigned the evening prior on the tournament homepage.
Saturday will have designated warm up courts free of charge from 8-8:25a and 8:25-8:50a. Sunday-Tuesday will have designated warm up courts free of charge from 8-8:50a.

TOURNAMENT HOTEL INFO
The Graduate Hotel Minneapolis is the official tournament hotel of Baseline Tennis Center.
A room block has been set aside for June 28-July 2 for those participating in the tournament. There are a limited number of rooms available, and there is a cutoff date for booking rooms of Tuesday, June 18. Rooms are available at a rate of $179 per night.
The Graduate Hotel is within walking distance of Baseline Tennis Center, and is also conveniently located on the light rail line, allowing players to travel from Minneapolis/St Paul Airport to the hotel and host site without a car rental.

Other area hotels listed in the downtown or University areas would be the next closest options. Anything in the Roseville area would be about a 15 minute drive to campus.

PARKING AROUND THE TENNIS CENTER
Due to the close proximity of the Baseline Tennis Center to 4 major athletic venues, parking may be at event rates (up to $10.00/car) with no in/out privileges. Metered parking is available behind the building at $1.25/hr as available. Please consider carpooling, walking a longer distance, etc. to minimize the impact of these events. OFFICIATING
There will be 1 roving official for every 4 courts. Singles semi finals, final, 3rd place and doubles final will be chaired.

COURT SURFACE
This event is scheduled to be played on outdoor hard courts. Baseline has indoor hard courts courts available on site in case of inclement weather. Priority will be given to play matches outdoors as much as possible. Matches may be moved indoors or rain delays may occur if inclement weather will clear quickly. Baseline tournament staff will make decisions with assistance from USTA National staff on when to delay matches versus moving indoors.

OFFICIAL BALL
Wilson US Open Regular Duty will be the ball used.

RACQUET STRINGING
A stringer will always be on site during business hours. We are able to turn around any racquet within 24 hours. For most requests, we are able to complete in a couple hours. If players provide their own string, we charge only $21 per racquet. If you require string, we carry most Babolat synthetic string brands.

TOWELS AND ICE
Ice is provided for any injury and water is available at all levels of Baseline. We do not have a towel service on site, please bring your own court towels.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The National ChampionshipsAll SINGLES finalists and SINGLES champions of the June National Level 2 will automatically qualify for the same age division of The National Championships (Hard Courts). Players must still register for The National Championships in order to be considered for the event. NOTE: These players must still register for the tournament.
