MAS Regulations and Ranking Points
This tournament operates in accordance with the rules and guidelines listed in USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations and USTA Friend at Court. Players are eligible to earn ranking points from this event based on the point tables found in the USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations. Points are awarded based on the level of the tournament and the draw format. Main draw and consolation points may vary based on the draw format used.

MAS Intermediate Level Tournaments (ILT) LEVEL 6 TOURNAMENT
Recommended for Intermediate players with competition experience and success at
Individual divisions are played to completion in not more than 2-Days
(Ex1: BG18-12 play Sat&Sun. Ex2: G18-12 play Fri&Sat. / B18-12 play
Match Format: Singles = 2 Sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set.
Doubles = 8-Game ProSet
Outdoor Season (mid-March thru October): FIC, RR or Compass.
Indoor Season (November thru mid-March): 2-Match Guarantee Recommended.
MAS L8, L7, L6 & L5 EVENT REFUNDS
Member organizations are not required to refund players for tournaments affected by inclement weather. Per MAS regulations, in the event of inclement weather a tournament may utilize a shortened format in order to play the tournament to completion. If the tournament cannot be played, it is the MAS recommendation that players be offered a credit to a future tournament hosted by the same organization, however, this is only a recommendation and not a policy. Each member organizations shall post their refund policy on the tournament homepage.
SMALL DRAW CONSOLATIONS
Singles & Doubles Draws of 5-8 players/teams shall play FIC SF with consolation played to completion and consolation winner receiving 3rd place points. Draws of 4 or fewer shall play a NEF of either RR or SE with playoff for 3/4.This does not apply to SE Doubles events.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, July 18, 2018 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
