We will not cancel a day before noon due to the rules. We have lights, so plan on playing under them if we experience delays due to rain. The format may change if we experience a delay. The rain hotline is 925 9372582. Please only call this # in case of an emergency or if you are en route to the club and it begins to rain. If you are driving from more than 2 hrs out then you may call the director directly. Unfortunately, usually we will not be able to start a delay more than 2 hrs before the first match times.
Attention all players that did not get selected due to lack of earned advancement points!
Hi all players and parents, we did not limit the draws in this tournament and have carefully made plans so for all of the LTC challengers and opens we will not ever have to limit our draws. We were given a list of players that did not qualify for the tournament
due to lack of earned advancement points. We realize that everyone may
not completely understand the earned advancement system. you basically
need 10 points to move on to the next level. You receive 2 points for
participating in an orange or green dot event and 4 points if you win
the event. You may also pick up points playing jr team tennis. Next weekend we have an orange and green dot tournament that players may sign up for online. The deadline is still open.. Please contact Sofia Dunlevey at the norcal usta office at 510 7487373 to ask for a further explanation of the pathway. I have received many emails from you expressing your concern about why you were not selected for the tournament. We have plenty of courts and would never have turned away any players unless we were forced to due to the rules! Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and you may sign up online for the Orange and green dot event that we will host on March 7th! Below is further info on the pathway.

Tournament Ball is Wilson US Open!
Attention all players and alternates
Thank You for applying for the tournament! This is a limied draw/tournament director selection tournament. The selection process is determined by the usta. If you were not accepted then you were automatically put on an alternate list and we will notify you if a spot opens up. Please email us if you do not want to be put on the alternate list. You also will not be charged for your entry fee. This is a new tournament that was sanctioned this year. The problem with the usta sanctioning a new tournament and not a longstanding one is that we cannot prepare for the amount of players ahead of time. We hate turning any players away and would like to give the most amount of players an opportunity to play. Please check your start time on friday just in case your opponent has withdrawn and your schedule changes!
Selection process, Eligibility, Seeding

If your birthday is during the same month of the tournament then you must play in the next higher age group. The seeding method that is used is whatever the current norcalusta list is on the day that we do the draws.
