*** About Doubles Pairing ***
The selection process was completed. All your emails about pairing were also processed and responded to.
If you still have any pairing request, please send them before Sunday night as we will then randomly pair the remaining players.

*** Important Registration Information ***
[1] When registering to the tournament, please make sure to provide your contact information (phone(s) and email address) as we would otherwise be unable to reach you when needed (registration issues, schedule changes, withdraws, weather issue, ...). [2] Doubles Pairing: all requests for pairing should be sent to the referee no later than Wednesday 16 at Midnight.

*** WHAT'S NEW FOR JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS IN 2014 ***
USTA Northern California recently announced some
significant changes and enhancements to the section's Junior Tournament
structure that will take effect on January 1, 2014.
USTA National, in an effort to improve the national
junior tournament experience for thousands of young players throughout the
country, has also made numerous changes to the National Junior Competition
Structure that will take effect on January 1, 2014.

*** Important Tournament Information ***
[1] Singles draw sizes will be limited to 48 players. Draw format will be Feed-In Championship through the round of 16. Playoffs will be provided for the 3rd to the 8th places. [2] Doubles draw sizes will be limited to 24 teams. Draw format will be single elimination. Playoffs will be provided for the 3rd and 4th places.

*** Concurrent Tournament Rule ***
A player shall not be entered at the time entries close in two or more USTA sanctioned tournaments scheduled to take place at the same time, in whole or in part, unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation, concurs in writing, and each agrees to accommodate the player’s schedule. The final decision rests with each tournament committee. If one tournament agrees to accept concurrent entries and accommodate the player's schedule but the concurrent tournament does not, the player may not enter both. If entries for the overlapping tournaments close on different dates, approval must be received from all Tournament Committees no later than the entry closing date that occurs last. Players who enter a tournament and play it to completion, may then enter another tournament with overlapping dates without permission. If a player violates this concurrent tournament rule ranking points earned in any concurrent tournament played will not count toward ranking or the Grand Prix Points Race and the concurrent tournaments will not count toward the minimum tournament requirement to qualify for Grand Prix.

[1] Until the closing of the registrations, you can withdraw yourself online with your confirmation number. [2] After closing of registration, and until the posting of the draws, please submit any withdrawal in writing first by emailing BOTH the TD and the Referee (see above), and then also CALL the TD (phone number above). [3] After the posting of the draws, please FIRST CALL the TD and then email BOTH the TD and the Referee.

*** Event Draws Information and Match Formats ***
[1] (12 Divisions) All Singles Events (Main and Consolation Draws): format will be best of 3 TB sets
with a match tie-break (10 points) in lieu of the 3rd set. [2] (14 Divisions) All Singles Events (Main Draw): format will be best of 3 TB sets. [3] (14 Divisions) All Singles Events (Consolation Draw): format will be best of 3 TB sets
with a match tie-break (10 points) in lieu of the 3rd set. [4] All Doubles Events: format will be a 8 games Pro Set (A 7 points tie-break will be played at 8-8). [5] Mandatory playoff matches will determine the 3rd to 8th winners. [6] Regular scoring will be used. [7] Be on time for your matches: check-in at the tournament desk 15 minutes before your scheduled match times and be ready to play. Penalties for lateness will be enforced.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Monday, July 14, 2014 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
