ONE 10 POINT MATCH TIE-BREAK IN A SINGLE ELIMINATION DRAW. 10 ALL = SUDDEN DEATH W/ SERVER SCHEDULED TO SERVE = SERVING NO AD STYLE = RETURNER GETS CHOICE OF SIDE. THE WINNER OF THE SHOOTOUT WILL PLAY A 1 TIE-BREAK SET MATCH VS THE NORDIC NATURALS WILDCARD CHAMPION OR FINALIST. PLAY WILL BE CONTINUOUS BEGINNING AT 5:00PM UNTIL A WINNER IS DECLARED. THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE A WILDCARD INTO THE QUALIES ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 2.

Draws will be posted by Wed morning. Please look at the competitor list and make sure you are in the correct event. All NTRP singles and doubles will play 2 out of 3 sets w/ a match tie-break for the 3rd set. There will be 2 matches for draws of 3 = round robin and 4 = playoff 3/4. We are using wilson u.s. open balls. We will have 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 singles and doubles and mixed. NTRP PORTION OF THE TOURNEY = 2 DAY TOURNEY.

THE QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT WILL BE HELD AS A 1 WEEKEND TOURNAMENT ON MARCH 22ND AND MARCH 23RD. THE SEMIFINALISTS WILL THEN BE QUALIFIED FOR THE MAIN DRAW...........THE SCHEDULE OF PLAY FOR THE MAIN DRAW = QUARTERS {2 MATCHES WILL PLAY APRIL 4TH AND MAY 2ND. SEMIS MATCHES WILL PLAY JUNE 6TH.}. FINALS = ON JULY 4TH. AUGUST 1ST WILL BE A NEW FORMAT = THERE WILL BE A SHOOTOUT FOR ANYONE WISHING TO GET INTO THE QUALIFYING = ENTRY FEE TBD...THE NORDIC CHAMPION WILL PLAY THE WINNER OF THE SHOOTOUT FOR THE WILDCARD SPOT. THE NORDIC WINNER WILL STILL EARN THE PRIZE $ THOUGH. THE TOP 4 SEEDS WILL HAVE A BYE TO THE QUARTERS = BLOCK SEEDED. PLAY FOR MENS OPEN SINGLES WILL BE 2 OUT OF 3 SETS. WILSON US OPEN TENNIS BALLS WILL BE USED.

All players participating in a USTA NorCal sanctioned NTRP tournament must have an NTRP rating. If you do not have an NTRP rating, please click "more info" to obtain a self-rating.

A player shall not be entered at the time entries close in two or more USTA sanctioned tournaments scheduled to take place at the same time, in whole or in part, unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation, concurs in writing, and each agrees to accommodate the player’s schedule. The final decision rests with each tournament committee. If one tournament agrees to accept concurrent entries and accommodate the player's schedule but the concurrent tournament does not, the player may not enter both. If entries for the overlapping tournaments close on different dates, approval must be received from all Tournament Committees no later than the entry closing date that occurs last. Players who enter a tournament and play it to completion, may then enter another tournament with overlapping dates without permission. If a player violates this concurrent tournament rule ranking points earned in any concurrent tournament played will not count toward ranking or the Grand Prix Points Race and the concurrent tournaments will not count toward the minimum tournament requirement to qualify for Grand Prix.

Anyone withdrawing from the event before the deadline must do so online with their confirmation number to get their refund. After the deadline the request must be made by email to the Tournament Director, Brian Cory with the address and name of the person who should receive the refund check. The tennislink fees will not be refunded. When the withdawal is made less than 7 days prior to the event no refund will be given..
