SEEDING
The tournament has been uploaded to show seedings in each division. The seeds are place in the draws using the wave method, which distributes the seeds evenly among all the draws. ZAT TOURNAMENTS
This is a tournament for ZAT players only. ZATs are for junior players who are trying to qualify for a Texas ranking and have not yet achieved Champs status. The event will award points for each round won. The winners of each division automatically qualify for Champs level play and may enter that level in the following month. Please note that there are no refunds for withdrawals after the entry deadline.
|
DRAWS AND SEEDING
The draws are randomly drawn by computer. The seeds are placed in each draw using the wave method, which places seeds in order for each draw. The remaining players are randomly assigned to a draw. The colors do not mean anything, they are just there to tell the draws apart from one another. Each draw in an event is considered equal in strength to the other draws. There is no seeding in either 10U Orange or 10U Green. The byes are randomly selected.
