Tournament is On!!!!
We have finally received permission from the State Health Department, and the City of Conway to host this tournament. There will be many guidelines and directives that players, staff, and spectators must follow, as we continue to try to prevent the spreading of Covid 19. We know this might an inconvenience to you, and we apologize for that, but at least we are back to playing tennis. Listed below are items that we encourage all players and spectators to follow:
1. All spectators must wear a mask, including players when not playing. 2. Players are asked to check in 30 minutes before their match, Code Violations for lateness will be enforced, play their match, and then not remain at the facility until their next match. If you choose to stay, we will be monitoring large groups of spectators to ensure they staying at least 6 ft apart and wearing a mask. 3. Water coolers, and scorecards will not be on courts. Players will need to bring their own water, and will be expected to keep up with the score without aide from scorecards. 4. Spectators must bring their own seating. Bleachers around the outside loop of the facility will be removed. Seating will allowed on the outside of both Viewing Rooms, but we will not provide chairs of any kind for spectators. Viewing Room 1 will be the tournament desk, and check in only. A maximum of 2 players will be allowed at any time for check in purposes only. Viewing Room 2 will remain locked during the entire tournament. Neither Viewing Room will be allowed for seating to watch matches. Seating areas will be marked with chalk paint at 6-7 ft intervals. Areas not allowed for seating will be marked with signs. 5. Restroom doors must remain open at all times. Hand Sanitizer will be place on all benches between courts for players. We will also have Hand Sanitizer at the Front Desk,, and Tournament Desk. 6. Guidelines from the Health Department, and the City of Conway will be hung at all entrances. These guidelines will be enforced. 7. If you have any problems or complaints about the directives or guidelines please come to the Tournament Desk. The staff is there for monitoring purposes only.
We know this is a lot of changes during these strange times, and we appreciate your help in abiding by the guidelines provided. We look forward to a great weekend of tennis, and to seeing everyone back on the courts.
