This tournament is not sanctioned and will not count for ranking by the governing organization.
IMPORTANT CITY WAIVER
All entrants will be required to sign the City of Denton's COVID Waiver in order to participate in the event. Waivers will be at the check in desk on Saturday Morning. A parent/guardian must be present to sign for the participant in order for them to play.
Masks are encouraged for all players while off the court and for all spectators. Benches will be roped off at Goldfield so please bring your own seating and social distance.
All players have been sorted into a Round Robin draw with their first match time scheduled. The remaining matches will be completed within the 4 hour window and have been left unscheduled. Players are expected to remain on-site during the 4 hour window to complete their matches and only short rest periods in between matches.
Please check in to the front desk in person the first time to sign the waiver and receive your official Bad Dawg tournament t-shirt, after that only go to the front desk to report score and receive tennis balls. The site director will communicate via text when the player is to go on court after the first check in.
Scoring Format: All matches will be one 6 game set, no-ad scoring. tiebreaker at 6 games all.
Site Director: Svaksha (current UTD tennis player applying for Med School, has worked over 20 events for Bad Dawg Tennis)
All matches will be played at Goldfield Tennis Center (2005 W windsor, Denton, TX)
Highland Village Tennis Center’s courts are currently undergoing some improvements and will be unavailable for use.
Goldfield Tennis Center is a 9 court outdoor facility that will allow for faster play and better social distancing.
Players will complete their matches within a 4 hour window in either the morning from 8am-12pm or afternoon from 12pm-4pm, additional times may be added if necessary.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to USTA Members, USTA Members who have an expired membership and Non-USTA Members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, September 23, 2020 11:59:00 PM Central Time.
