FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES TO ENSURE YOU'LL RECEIVE COURT ASSIGNMENTS VIA TEXT
* When setting up your Match Tennis App account, all family members should sign in with the same username and password. * Make sure you add three DIFFERENT contact numbers during the Pre Tournament Virtual Check-In THAT WILL BE ON during the tournament. They all should be cell numbers since messages will be in the form of texts. When you are called to court, all your contact phones will receive the message. * If you need to add or change contact numbers go to “My Account” in Match Tennis App and click “Completed Waivers” to add or change contact numbers.

For the safety of all Tournament players, parents, coaches and staff we will NOT be using a physical tournament desk where social gathering is most common. We instead will be using Match Tennis App’s Virtual Tournament Desk to help facilitate CDC guidelines for social distancing. QUALIFYING ROUNDS- IMPORTANT INFORMATION
If your player was not selected for their age division this morning (B12s or B14s), please read the following information regarding the qualifying tournament to determine the last two (2) spots in the L6 this weekend:
1) You must be available to play starting Thursday, October 8th at 4 pm and Friday at 4 pm. There is a chance we may need to start qualifying rounds on Thursday.
2) You must call our office at (714) 541-0503 to secure your player's spot in the qualifying event. The entry fee is $30.
3) The qualifying tournament will consist of round robin matches, followed by a playoff to determine the top two (2) players to be entered in the tournament this weekend.
4) All matches will be held at Cabrillo Tennis Center.
5) The deadline to secure your spot for qualifying is Wednesday, October 7th at 9 pm.

1. SELECTION PROCESS IS TOP 30 FROM STANDINGS LIST. NEXT 2 WILDCARDS FROM QUALIFYING ROUNDS. 2. NO DOUBLES. 3. ALLOW ONE PARENT/COACH PER PLAYER. 4. PLAYER MUST CHECK IN AND SIGN WAIVER THROUGH MATCH TENNIS APP.

Qualifying Rounds- Thursday, October 8th and Friday, October 9th
PLEASE NOTE: For divisions with more than 32 entries- If your player is not selected in the top 30 for this tournament, we will host qualifying rounds on Thursday, October 8th and Friday, October 9th in the afternoon for the final 2 spots in the main draw! Therefore, even if your player is not selected on Wednesday, he/she still has a chance to be entered into the tournament.
We will contact you on Wednesday regarding qualifying if your player is not initially selected.

Match Format
The match format for this event will be 2/3 tiebreak sets, with a 10-pt tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. All matches will be NO-AD scoring (receiver's choice of side).

FIRST ROUND CONSOLATION
Hi everyone! We will be having a sign-up, first-round consolation draw for this event! If you lose your first round, please come to the Tournament Desk and sign up for the consolation if you would like to play a second match! All consolation matches will be held on Sunday at Fullerton Tennis Center. The format will be an 8-game pro-set, no-ad scoring. The sign-up sheet will be at the tournament desk!

ONE SPECTATOR ONLY
For safety reasons, and per USTA rules, only one (1) spectator per player is allowed at our facility. We will be monitoring this closely, any additional spectators will be asked to leave immediately.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, October 6, 2020 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
