Notes
Due to 2020 regulations we will be running our Level 6
tournaments as a round robin with best 2 out of 3 short sets (win
by one game) with a 7 point tie breaker for the third.
This means everyone will play first to 4 games in each set. At 3-3,
the next game wins it. These will be played with no-add
scoring.
Players are allowed 30 minutes of rest between matches, but do not
have to take it!
The size of your round robin draw will directly relate to the
number of matches you will get to play. There is only one event
that only had 3 entrants (G16S) so they will only get two matches.
For all other events my goal is to get you guys 3 to 4 matches.
Again, some players might have a bye in either Round 1,2,3 or 4. If
there are extra people and courts open at any time durring our
round robins and your players would like to get some extra matches
in, I am happy to send them out to play some "fun or warm up"
matches.
My goal is to have each group play all of their matches in one day
in hopes that you guys only need to make one trip to the facility.
Also, I am aiming to keep it so that players just needs to take
about a 4/5 hour chunk out of their weekend to play all their
matches at GTC.
I am finalizing the draws and times today. Girls will be playing
Saturday and boys will be playing Sunday. Thank you for your
patience while I try to get familiar with all the rules and
regulations that have been put onto level 6 tournaments!
