ALL MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED AT THE LIBERTY PARK TENNIS CENTER -
(ENTER LIBERTY PARK ON 900 S AND APPROX 500 E.)
Time: 8am-6pm
Format: best 2 out of 3 sets, regular scoring (except 10 and
under playing short sets). Single ELIMINATION.

PLEASE NOTE
Play at your own risk. We will do our best to facilitate play
during the current global pandemic in accordance with guidance from
our state and local governments and tennis facility. Be aware that
tennis facilities must make their own decisions about players'
health and safety in conducting matches. Please abide by those
decisions and be respectful of other player's safety concerns. If
you are not feeling well or are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms,
or if you are concerned with your own health given the inherent
risk of playing tennis with others during the pandemic, please skip
play until such time as you feel healthy or more comfortable.
Due to COVID-19 - TWO ADULTS ONLY WILL BE ALLOWED TO ACCOMPANY
EACH PLAYER INSIDE THE TENNIS FACILITY FOR THEIR MATCH (NO
EXCEPTIONS). For players, MASKS ARE REQUIRED before and after the
match. For Spectators, Masks are required.
_Restrooms will be available inside the clubhouse. 2 people
max.

We will be taking the player's temperature before entering the
tennis facility. There will be hand washing stations set up for
mandatory hand washing before and after every match. Hand sanitizer
will be on every court if needed during the match. Please bring
plenty of water, there will be no water on the courts. The 6ft rule
will be enforced.
FORMAT FOR 10'S DIVISIONS: 10's Divisions will be played on 60'
courts with orange low compression balls. 10's matches will be best
of 3 short sets (first to 4 games ahead by 2), If the score reaches
4-4 in games, a 7 point tiebreak will be played to determine the
winner of the set. Matches will be no-ad scoring.
FORMAT FOR 10'S OPEN DIVISIONS: 10's Orange Open Divisions will be
played on 60' courts with orange low compression balls. 10's Green
Open Divisions will be played on 78' (full size) courts with green
low compression balls. 10's matches will be best of 3 short sets
(first to 4 games ahead by 2), if the score reaches 4-4 a 7 point
tiebreak will be played to determine the winner of the set. Matches
will be no-ad scoring.
Challenger and Futures Events do NOT count toward
advancement into Open Green play.
Players may choose to continue to play Open Orange until the month
that they turn 11.
12's Open Green Division. This Division may be played by any
12's Division player who is seeking more Green Dot ball match play.
10's Division players who have qualified for Green Dot balls in the
10's Division may also play up into this division. Matches will be
played on 78' (full size) courts with green low compression balls.
10's Division players playing up into this division will not
receive 10's Progression Points.
FORMAT FOR 12'S CHALLENGER DIVISIONS: 12's Challenger Divisions
will be played on 78' (full size) courts with green low compression
balls.
CHALLENGER DEFINITION: A Challenger is a novice player who has not
won an open tournament. A junior may continue to participate in
challenger events, in their age appropriate division, until they
have won no more than (2) Challenger Tournaments. After two (2)
Challenger Tournament wins, a junior is no longer eligible for a
Challenger event until they age up. A player may NOT play out of
his/her age division in a Challenger event until the month in which
the junior ages up.
Player Selection TypeNo Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, July 5, 2020 11:59:00 PM Mountain Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
