SATURDAY SCHEDULE FOR 10 AND UNDER: PARENT-PLAYER ORIENTATION AT 8:30 AM
**PARENT AND PARENT ORIENTATION**
THE 10 AND UNDER DIVISIONS WILL BEGIN PLAY 9:00 AM SATURDAY. AT LEAST ONE PARENT SHOULD PLAN TO ATTEND A PARENTS MEETING AT 8:30 AM SATURDAY FOR ORIENTATION PRIOR TO BEGINNING PLAY AT 9:00 AM. SINGLES MATCHES FIRST, FOLLOWED BY DOUBLES AT 12:00 NOON.
THE 10 AND UNDER WILL PLAY A ROUND ROBIN FORMAT WITH SHORT SETS. PLAYERS WILL HAVE SEVERAL MATCHES AND WILL FINISH PLAY ABOUT 2:00 PM SATURDAY. LUNCH WILL BE SERVED AROUND 11:30 AM.

SPORTSMANSHIP AWARDS WILL PRESENTED TO ONE BOY AND ONE GIRL EXHIBITING THE BEST SPORTSMANSHIP DURING THE TOURNAMENT.
TROPHIES WILL BE PRESENTED IN EACH EVENT TO MAIN DRAW WINNERS AND FINALISTS, AND EVENT CONSOLATION WINNERS.

Sportsmanship Responsibilities: All parents are encouraged complete the "Parenting My Champion" sportsmanship video before their player participates in this level tournament.

Please be aware that this tournament is a 10U Youth Tennis
Progression event. This means that in order to play in the 10U division offered
you must be in the corresponding level. If you are not able to register for 10U
singles that means you are not eligible for that level of 10U. To find out more

Seeding Criteria The most current USTA Southern Standing List will be used for seeding purposes.

Boys and Girls 10's Orange Ball Divsions Boy's and Girl's ORANGE BALL divisions will be played on a 60' court using a low compression orange ball. Racquet size is limited to 25" or smaller. Draw format will be determined by the number of participants. Scoring format as follows: 2 out of 3 short sets using NO AD scoring, first to 4 games (win by 1). If players split sets then a 7 point tiebreak is played for the 3rd set (win by 2). THERE IS NO COACHING BETWEEN THE 2nd AND 3rd SET BREAK IN THE 10 & UNDER DIVISIONS. Doubles will be a 6 game pro set Using NO AD scoring

Draw format will be determined by the number of participants. Scoring format as follows: 2 out of 3 short sets using NO AD scoring, first to 4 games (win by 2). A 7 point tiebreak is played if players reach 4 all. If players split sets then a 7 point tiebreak is played for the 3rd set (win by 2). THERE IS NO COACHING BETWEEN THE 2nd AND 3rd SET BREAK IN THE 10 & UNDER DIVISIONS. Doubles will be a 6 game pro set using NO AD scoring

2020 USTA Southern Youth Progression Update Please note that
starting January 2020 USTA Southern’s Youth Progression has changed from
offering 2 levels of Orange ball to only one level of Orange ball - Orange
Level 1. Players will now start at Orange Level 1 and progress to Green Level 1
then to Mission Complete/Yellow Ball. Youth Progression point distribution has

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, February 24, 2020 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
