***IMPORTANT COVID REGULATION***- Please do not come if you're feeling ill/sick. - All spectators and players must wear masks except for those playing matches on court, but will be required to put masks back on as they leave court to use the restroom, report scores and when they arrive for check-in. - Player +1 on-site only (player plus a coach is acceptable, but only if a parent is not present) - Guests must maintain a minimum distance of 6 ft from one another. - Players and spectators leave the site once the match is complete once they have reported their match score. - All scores will be entered online only. We will not be posting scores on paper draws at the site. - If a player would like to play matches with 2 cans of balls, they must bring their own can of the same ball type we will b e playing with. - Players and spectators should bring their own water and seating

Tennis Center/City of Tucson (TTM/RST/RTC/COT) sponsors various
tennis activities and events, including, but not limited to,
tournaments, leagues, group and individual instruction, workshops,
court rental and usage (each, an "Event" and collectively, the
"Events").
BY ENTERING/REGISTERING AND IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to
participate in any way in the EVENT(S), EACH OF THE UNDERSIGNED,
for him/herself, his/her personal representatives, heirs, and next
of kin:
1. HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE
{TTM/RST/RTC/COT} , and all of their directors, officers, agents,
volunteers and employees,(hereinafter referred to as "Releasees")
FROM ALL LIABILITY TO THE UNDERSIGNED, his/her personal
representatives, assigns, heirs and next of kin FOR ANY AND ALL
LOSS OR DAMAGE, AND ANY CLAIM OR DEMANDS THEREFORE ON ACCOUNT OF
INJURY AND/OR EXPOSURE TO INFECTIOUS SYNDROMES OR DISEASES TO THE
PERSON OR PROPERTY OR RESULTING IN ILLNESS AND/OR DEATH OF THE
UNDERSIGNED ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE EVENT(S), WHETHER
CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE. BY

3. HEREBY acknowledges that THE ACTIVITIES OF THE EVENT(S) MAY BE

and diseases, serious illness, injury and/or death and/or property
damage and he/she ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISK
WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BODILY INJURY, EXPOSURE,
DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE arising out of or related to the EVENT(S)
whether caused by the NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES or otherwise.
4. HEREBY grants to the Releasees (and grants to the Releasees the
right to grant to others), as well as their successors and assigns,
in perpetuity, the irrevocable right (but not the obligation), with
or without my knowledge, to film, tape, photograph, record,
exhibit, edit, alter, copy, reproduce, license, sell, rent,
disclose, display, publish, distribute, broadcast, webcast, prepare
derivative works from or otherwise preserve, use and/or exploit in
any format and/or manner now known or hereafter developed, whether

Event; (2) my name, likeness, signature, voice, singing voice,

ATTENTION TOURNAMENT PLAYERS/PARENTS
Tournament directors do not have access to phone numbers and email
addresses of the tournament participants UNLESS the player
re-enters their contact information at the time of event
registration. This means that if a player does not enter their
phone and email information each time they register for a
tournament, the tournament director will NOT be able to
contact them for any reason, including withdrawals, defaults, byes,
rain delays etc. Your cooperation will ensure that tournaments can

Draws will be made and posted on Tuesday, Oct. 13th, 2020. All
players are instructed to Check-In at least 15 minutes prior to
their scheduled match time.
5) Tournament Selection Procedures & Alternates: Only
Southwest Section players are permitted to play in this
tournament.

Late entries to the Monster
Madness Tournament will be considered only if the draw permits.
Please make every attempt to register by the tournament
deadline.
7) Withdrawal/Entry Fee Refund Policy for USTA Junior
Events
After Entry Deadline:
Immediately contact the tournament to withdraw from the tournament
- telephone numbers and email addresses of the Tournament Director
will be posted on the tournament's USTA TennisLink Home Page.
Players must also fulfill the written verification requirements
described below if the withdrawal is for injury or illness and the
player wants to avoid being levied USTA Suspension Points.
Withdrawal After the Entry Deadline:
Players who withdraw after the entry deadline for any reason are
not entitled to a refund.

8) Check-In:
All players must check-in on October
17th, 2020 at least 30 minutes before their first scheduled match
time. At check-in you will receive a player's letter and Monster
Madness Draw String Bag for participating.
9) Tournament Schedule ***(Schedule is tentative and subject to
change)***
The tournament is scheduled from October 17th-19th, main draw and
consolation finals will be played on the 19th. Times for matches
are approximately anytime between 8AM to 9PM.
10) Practice Court Reservations:
Courts will be
available TBD for free from 11am-4pm and 6-9pm, first come first
serve. Courts will be available beginning at 7AM on Saturday and
Sunday at Reffkin Tennis Center until the tournament starts at 8am.
Once the tournament begins, practice courts will be limited and
based on availability (most likely there will not be any
available). Our pro-shop will be open at 7AM each day.

The use of Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) will be used for the
seeding and placement of players in top or silver draws for this
tournament.
Universal Tennis Ratings provide tennis players worldwide a common

beginners to elite world-class professionals), precisely and
reliably determines individual players' ratings based on actual
match results without regard for age, gender or where the matches

21) Dress Code:
All players are required to wear appropriate tennis attire. Cut off
shorts, bare midriffs, compression shorts & tights (alone), or
any other attire that is simply recreational and is not tennis
oriented is not acceptable.
