The Junior divisions will start on Friday, July 12 at 5pm if
necessary.
The purpose of the Games is to provide top-quality amateur
competition in a wide range of activities and promote physical
fitness, personal health and well-being for Kansans of all ages and
skill levels. 2019 marks the 30th Anniversary of this Olympic style
competition. We are honored to work with the USTA and its members
in hosting this sanctioned tournament. We look forward to seeing
you at the Games! Medals awarded to finalists and third place
finishers in each event.
Online registration is required and needs to be COMPLETED before
the entry deadline. This event is worth Missouri Valley Level 5
points. This is an intermediate tournament. All players who
register will be selected for the tournament. Seeding for this
tournament will be based off the most recent Missouri Valley
Standings list. Only one singles and one doubles division may be
entered per player in this tournament per Missouri Valley Junior
Competition rules.
Match Format: Singles: Best of 3 sets
with 10 point tiebreak in lieu of the third for Main Draw matches.
Consolation will be 8 game pro sets. Doubles: Single Elimination 8
game pro set.
All Players are selected manually by the tournament director after
the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must
be submitted by Sunday, July 07, 2019 11:59:00 PM Central Time.
Only USTA members can register online if available.
NOTE: You must register by June 30th; 11:59 PM (Midnight) to
receive a Sunflower State Games t-shirt.
