Parking
If the parking lot at Reis Tennis Center is full you may park at the Equestrian Center parking lot next to Reis Tennis Center or at the East Hill Plaza at the corner of Mitchell and Pine Tree Roads. Please do not park on the grass next to the Reis driveway as it's soft and muddy due to recent heavy rain.

Court Surface and Consolation Singles Update (6/17)
Due to the high enrollment in this tournament main draw matches in 16 and 18 divisions are scheduled on the outdoor courts weather permitting and as long as darkness isn’t an issue. Main draw matches in the 12 and 14 divisions are scheduled on the indoor courts. An optional consolation singles round will be scheduled late Saturday evening and on Sunday as long as main draw matches don't get delayed on Saturday or Sunday due to rain.

Practice Courts (Update 6/17)
The Reis Tennis Center indoor and outdoor courts will be available to tournament players for practice at no charge on Friday, 6/21 until 4 PM; as well as on Saturday, 6/22 from Sunday, 6/23 from 7-8 AM. Practice courts will be available on a first come, first serve basis with up to four players to a court and a limit of 30 minutes if others are waiting for a court. Indoor courts can be used for practice during the tournament as long as there isn't a match on an adjacent court. There will be no practice court reservations.

Doubles Pairing Deadline:
All doubles pairings will need to be confirmed by 1 PM on Saturday, June 15th in order for teams to be included in the doubles draws. If doubles partners are not indicated in the applicant list the pairing will need to be confirmed by emailing abf11@cornell.edu. Once both players confirm the pairing it will be indicated in the competitor list.

Late entries:
Due to high enrollment in this tournament we're not able to add additional players. If you missed the deadline you can send an email to abf11@cornell.edu to be placed on an alternate list. If players withdraw from the tournament alternates can take the place of withdrawn players in the draws as long as it doesn't affect the seeding.

TennisRecruiting.net National Showcase Series
This tournament has been designated as part of the TennisRecruiting.net National Showcase Series. Tournaments in the National Showcase Series are USTA sanctioned junior tournaments open to players from all sections. Eastern players who win matches earn regular L1 ranking points for this tournament. These tournaments are designed to give a broad range of players the chance to compete outside their districts and sections - and results from these tournaments are guaranteed to count toward TRN rankings. Players who compete in these tournaments and win at least one match will become national players on TRN.

Consolation Singles
A consolation singles round will be scheduled for players who lose their first singles match, as long as we have sufficient court space.

Doubles Pairings
All players must indicate their partner in the applicant list or email abf11@cornell.edu to confirm their partner by Friday, June 14th at 1 PM. USTA does not permit giving out contact information without permission, but we can forward email requests to other applicants who haven't indicated partners yet. Once both players confirm that they'll pair up it will be indicated in the competitor list.

Player Check-In for Matches
Players are requested to check-in at the tournament desk at least 15 minutes prior to each scheduled match. They should be prepared to play at the time that they check in.

Scoring Format
Main Draw
Singles: Best
of three tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a
third set, regular scoring. There is a 2 minute on court break if players split sets and coaching is not allowed.
Consolation Singles: 8-game pro set with a 7 point tiebreak at 8 games all, regular scoring.
Doubles: 8-game pro set with a 7 point tiebreak at 8 games
all, NO-AD scoring.

We plan to schedule main draw matches on the Reis
Tennis Center outdoor hard courts weather permitting and as long as darkness
isn’t an issue. If a large number
of players enroll in the tournament we may need to schedule some divisions on
the Reis indoor hard courts and this information will be posted on the
tournament page when the draws are posted.
As long as the weather allows us to schedule main draw matches outdoors
we’ll schedule a consolation singles round on the indoor courts.
