This is RIRC's first USTA Men's NTRP 4.0 tournament of the
2018/19 season! This is a First Round Consolation Match Tournament,
which means, win or lose the FIRST round, you play a second match.
Matches start Fri., November 30th. The Finals are planned for
Monday night, November 31st. (schedule subject to change based on
draw size). All rounds are technically timed events, two hours.
This tournament is only taking the first 16 players registered.
Withdrawals can be done before registration closes. Afterwards, a
late cancellation will be enforced unless there is an alternate
available. The draw will be posted on Tennislink, Wednesday, Nov.
28th, by 4pm or earlier if/when the tournament is full.
Remember to arrive at RIRC 15 minutes prior to your match time.
Check-in at the front desk where you'll be assigned a court. If you
are late in excess of 15 minutes from start time, you will be
defaulted. The Tournament Director may hold the default up to 45
minutes for extenuating circumstances. Balls will be given to the
first person that arrives for each match. When you finish, the
winner must report the scores to the front desk.
The format is:
* 10 minute warm-up
* Two sets with Ad scoring
* If you split sets, play a super breaker (up to 10 points instead
of 7)

Code Of Conduct: By registering for this tournament you agree to abide by the Rules & Regulations set forth in the USTA Friend at Court, the USTA Standards of Conduct, as well as the USTA Eastern Section's Rules & Regulations. The rules apply to parents & spectators as well; the player is responsible for their entourage. Poor behavior by the spectators may result in point penalties for the players. Poor personal behavior, bad sportsmanship or any acts detrimental to the game could prevent section endorsement.
