IMPORTANT MESSAGES:

Please report at least 15 minutes before start time and be ready to play. It
will be a long walk to the tournament desk from parking lot, please plan your
arrival time accordingly.
3.
Chairs for spectators: we suggest bringing folding chairs. Chairs are available
for players.
4.
Food and drinks will be available at Midtown Café until 3 pm on Saturday and
Sunday.
5. NO
OUTSIDE FOOD ALLOWED ON THE CLUB PREMISES.
6.
Racquet stringing will be available onsite: $20 per racquet with your own
string. Please leave the racquets at the front desk.
7.
Practice courts will be on a very limited basis. Options for practice courts
are: WESTON HILLS CC, WESTON TENNIS CENTER, MARKHAM PARK (Hard courts). Some
fees may apply.
8.
Water, fruits and ice provided.
9.
Tournament players and guests are not allowed to use the gym equipment at any
time.
10.
NO PETS AND NO SMOKING ALLOWED TO THE CLUB.

DOUBLES REGISTRATION
We will start receiving registrations for Doubles, after the Singles list of the acceptance is out. Doubles registration will be by email to luis.brest@midtown.com and both players with USTA numbers MUST do it. Order of doubles entries: a. Both main draw Singles Players b. Main draw singles and Alternate. c. Both Alternate Players. Deadline for doubles is Wednesday, November 13 at 4 pm. Draws will be posted on Thursday, November 14 at noon. Only players who sign up for singles can play doubles. Cost for doubles only (in case you are not playing in the singles main draw) is $ 35.00 per player.
First Round doubles will be played on Saturday morning before Singles rounds. Matches will start at 7:45 am. Check in will be at 7:30 am. Club opens at 7 am for warm up.

Florida Residency Requirement
Players and their parents are required to be permanent residents of Florida in order to be eligible for this level tournament. Paperwork (as per the link) proving the parents and player are permanent residents must be RECEIVED in the USTA Florida office and APPROVED three weeks from the start date of the Level 3, 4, or 5 tournament, Players wishing to check their approval can check the Tentative Ranking list published approximately 16 days before the start of the tournament or check with the USTA Florida office: brown@ustaflorida.com.

UTR for Seeding
This tournament is using UTR to seed the players in each age division. The UTR rating is updated daily so the seeds are based on the UTR posted, Thursday, November 7th. USTA Florida is using UTR as a tool to seed the Level 3, 4, & 5 tournaments. This was started with the Level 3 Bobby Curtis in June 2018. The findings so far are anywhere from 88 to 91% accurate a seeded player will be in the final rounds of the tournament. Follow the link for more information on UTR. Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, November 3, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
