Welcome!
This is an entry-level
tournament sanctioned by USTA Georgia as a Level 5 (no Southern points).
Registration must be completed online. In the future, you can jump straight to
this tournament by entering the tournament identification number: 700016819 from the searchable schedule homepage.
Boys and Girls registered for 12 and under
division will play on a full court
with green dot balls.
Boys and Girls registered for 10 and under
division will play on a 60’ court
with orange balls.
USTA Georgia tournaments do not
offer Orange Level 2 divisions. All players that register for Orange 2 will be
automatically moved to Orange 1 before the draws are posted.
Youth Progression (for children ages 7-10)
If this is your child’s first
time playing a tournament, please email Eva Marie McCravy
(mccravy@ustageorgia.com) or Susan Pierce (pierce@ustageorgia.com) to activate
their USTA number in the Youth Progression program. For more information about
Youth Progression, visit our webpage.
New for 2019
USTA Georgia is publishing two
separate standing lists for 10 and under players: Orange Ball standings and
Green Ball standings. Players will receive same level points
for this tournament but will be listed in separate standing lists according to
their ball color (green ball players no longer
receive level 3 points on a level 4 or 5 tournament).
Player selection
This tournament is open for
junior players regardless of ranking. You will receive an automated email if your
player is selected and your credit card is charged.
Late Entrants
USTA Georgia will allow late
entrants to be accepted into all USTA GA tournaments in the event that the draw
is not full, provided that such late entrants do not affect the seeding and
further provided that late entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be
accepted into the draw under any circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at
the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon
following close of registration. Once draws are posted, the tournament is
closed and can no longer accept late entries.
Late Entry Fee - all late entries after on-line registration will
have a $10 late entry fee.
Draws
Draws will be published by Friday.
It is your responsibility to check this tournament webpage for the players’
draws, match times and any other updates. Any
match times found on the Internet, outside of the First Match Time Report, are
unofficial. Official match times only may be found on the posted draw sheets at
the tournament sites. Players must check the posted draw sheets to get their
match time and the location.
Format No T-shirts.
CONSOLATION - FIC through Quarterfinals. 3rd and 4th place
playoffs. Some consolations may not finish. Scoring format for BG12-18 - 2 sets
with 3rd set match tie-break. Singles scoring format for BG10s will be 2 out of
3 short sets (sets to 4 games) with a 7-point tie-break for the 3rd set (both
Main and Consolation draws). Any draw with fewer than 6
players entered will become a round robin event. This is true even with 2
players. The 2 players will have to play one another two times.
Withdrawals and Refund Policy
Before the
deadline, withdraw through TennisLink. After the deadline, email the tournament
director. No refunds for withdrawals after the tournament deadline.
