WEATHER UPDATE #1 - Posted 7:45 p.m. 2/22/2019
It is currently raining very hard at Laurel Park Tennis Courts. Due to the court conditions and the anticipation that the courts will need plenty of time to dry, the start of the tournament is being delayed until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, 2/23/2019. The current match schedule is being updated to reflect this delay. No match will begin before 11 a.m. and the updated schedule will be posted by 10:00 p.m. tonight - 2/22/2019. DRAWS AND MATCH SCHEDULES NOW POSTED
No matches are scheduled on Friday. The tournament will begin on Saturday, February 23rd. Please check-in at the tournament desk 15 minutes prior to your match times. If needed, players should go to the restroom prior to coming to the tournament desk. Please be ready to go on the tennis courts at the time you check-in. Tournament Match Format
Match Format All players will be placed in two matches with the FIC Quarter Finals consolation match format.
Main draw and consolation match scoring for BG12-18 is 2 sets with a 3rd set match tiebreak. FIC through Quarterfinals, 3rd and 4th place playoffs. BG10 Singles - Best of two sets (first to four (4) and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) for the third set.
Players placing in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in main draw and the consolation winner will receive a trophy. No other promotional items will be distributed. There is a 16 draw limit for all age groups. Some consolations matches may not finish.

Welcome!
This is an
intermediate-level tournament sanctioned by USTA Georgia as a Level 4 (no
Southern points). Registration must be completed online. In the future, you can

PRIMARY SITE Laurel Park Tennis Center 151 Manning Road Marietta, GA 30064
Boys and Girls registered for 12 and under division will play on a
full court with green dot balls. Boys and Girls registered for 10 and under division will play on a 60’
court with orange balls.
USTA Georgia tournaments do not offer Orange Level 2 divisions. All
players that register for Orange 2 will be automatically moved to Orange 1
before the draws are posted.
Youth Progression (for children ages 7-10) If this is your child’s first time playing a tournament, please email Eva

(pierce@ustageorgia.com) to activate their USTA number in the Youth Progression

New for 2019
USTA Georgia is publishing two separate standing lists for
10 and under players: Orange Ball standings and Green Ball standings. Players will receive same level points
for this tournament but will be listed in separate standing lists according to
their ball color.
Player selection This tournament is open for junior players regardless of ranking. You will
receive an automated email if your player is selected and your credit card is
charged.
Late Entrants USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into all
USTA GA tournaments in the event that the draw is not full, provided that such
late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late entrants
do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any
circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament
Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration.
Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late
entries.
Draws Draws will be published by Thursday at 10:00 a.m. It is your
responsibility to check this tournament web page for the players’ draws, match
times and any other updates.

Withdrawals and Refund Policy If this tournament is canceled due to weather conditions, players will
receive a credit towards future Triumph-N-Tennis tournaments as follows: No
match played - 100% registration fee credit to future tournament, 1 match
played - No refund. Note: USTA service charge is non-refundable.
