COMPETITORS IN MULTIPLE EVENTS
"Players who are on the competitor lists for National
Level 3 Tournaments on the weekend of January 19 and the weekend of January 26
must withdraw from one of the events by Friday, January 4 at 5 PM EST in order
to receive an entry fee refund. Players who do not withdraw by then will not
receive a refund."

MULTIPLE ENTRIES AND SELECTION PROCESS
Players may choose ONE of the following
options, but NOT both:

OPTION
1: ENTER any ONE (1) division of TWO (2) concurrent USTA National Level 3
Tournaments (this may be a different division in each tournament); OR
·
OPTION
2: ENTER TWO (2) divisions of ONE (1) USTA National Level 3 tournament
Players may PLAY in only ONE division
of ONE tournament. Players who register for three (3) or more events will be given 5 suspension points and will only be selected into a maximum of two events.
* As a reminder, players who
have been chosen into two events, will have until 5 PM EST, Tuesday,
January 1 to notify you of which event they would like to
participate in. Any withdrawals after this time should be treated as a
normal withdrawal.

DOUBLES DEADLINE
*The doubles deadline is Thursday, January 17, 2019 @ 5pm. If you would like to play doubles and/or would like for us to pair you with another player, you MUST email Ivan Baron at ibaron@YellowTennisBall.com
(make sure to get a confirmation email). If we do not hear from you, we will take you out of the doubles event. IMPORTANT: ALL divisions will have doubles take place BEFORE
their singles matches on Day 1 & 2. Make sure to double-check your start times and
site abbreviations. In addition, a player can only play doubles in the
same division as they are playing singles.

*Singles
Main Draw & 3/4 Playoff: Two tie-break sets with a 10-point match tie-break played at one set all (with AD-scoring). Feed-in consolation draw (through the Round of
16). Quarter-final losers will be fed into a separate consolation draw to play
for 5th and 6th place. Semi-final losers will play for 3rd and 4th place. *Singles
Consolation: Two tie-break sets with a 10-point match tie-break played at one set all (with NO-AD scoring).
*Doubles:
Single elimination. 8-game Pro-set with 7-point Tiebreak at 8-games
all with NO-AD scoring. There will be NO 3/4 Playoff.

ALTERNATE INFO.
Once the draws are posted, the next available alternate will be placed in any opening, be it a position occupied by a seed or non-seed. Prior to the posting of the draws, when we have withdrawals of seeds, we will move up the next seed accordingly.
Onsite alternates should sign in with the Site Director by 7:45am.

All players must fill out a Player Contact form and Medical Release

will have blank copies at the site or feel free to bring it with you
when you check in.

Withdrawals & Refunds
Players have until Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019 (EST) to notify the event if they would like to participate in our event or another L3 if accepted. Beginning Jan. 2, no refunds will be distributed.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, December 27, 2018 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
