The USTA National Mother Son Doubles Grass Court Championships
will be held at the Wessen Lawn Tennis Club in Pontiac, Michigan.
WLTC is the first major grass court tennis club to be built in the
US in more than 100 years with 24 perennial rye grass courts, 4
hard courts, olympic-size pool and clubhouse featuring snack bar,
wood-burning pizza ovens and viewing deck.

Tournament Update: Saturday 6/23
In the event of rain, matches will be moved to the hard court
bubble (larger white bubble) of the Wessen Indoor Tennis Club
located adjacent to Wessen Lawn TC at 127 Branch Street (entrance
to WITC is 1/2 block south of the outdoor hardcourt).
Match schedule has been updated on the draws for the indoor site;
in the (unlikely) event that the grass courts are playable, this
section will be updated by 10:00 am and players will be contacted
Main draw semifinals - 1:00 pm
Consolation semifinals - 3:00 pm
Practice courts will be available indoor starting at 12:00
Practice courts will be available starting at 10:30 am on Friday;
no reservations necessary. Dedicated practice courts will be
available throughout the event.
Consolation will be through quarterfinals (FICQ); consolation
format subject to change depending on final draw size.
All white attire is required on court. Non-white piping, striping
and small logos are acceptable (85% Rule). While it is preferred,
shoes do not have to be white. Grass court shoes are strictly
*Players are invited to join us for dinner on Friday and
Saturday evenings. Dinner and drinks on Friday are complimentary
for all tournament participants.
Players have access to locker rooms, towel service, pool, snack
bar, pro shop, club house and dinner service (Thursday - Saturday)
for the duration of the tournament.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, June 07, 2018 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
