DOUBLES PARTNER - DOUBLES ENTRIES
All players in the draw are assumed to be playing doubles and will be paired up as advised.
If you are planning to play singles only, kindly send an email to tournament staff. We do our best to update doubles partners on the homepage as timely as possible. With often several requests per day, we appreciate your patience in updating partners online.
Due to data privacy, we do not release other player's contact information when requested. We will consistently try to put interested partners in touch, withdrawals and partner changes make this a moving puzzle. Please know that we will pair everyone playing doubles with someone else if possible and will not make that draw until after the mandatory players meeting and check in. In case of an odd number, we would hope there would be an on-site alternate to fill that spot.
|
MATCH AND DRAW FORMAT
Singles: Best 2 of 3 tiebreak sets with a Match Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set, regular scoring; The singles draw is a full feed-in through the round of 16. Consolation is mandatory and will be played to completion.
Doubles: 8-game pro set with a tiebreak at 7-games all, no-ad scoring. Doubles draw is single elimination with a playoff for 3rd/4th place.
|
COURT SURFACE
This event is scheduled to be played on outdoor hard courts. Baseline has indoor hard courts courts available on site in case of inclement weather. Priority will be given to play matches outdoors as much as possible. Matches may be moved indoors or rain delays may occur if inclement weather will clear quickly. Baseline tournament staff will make decisions with assistance from USTA National staff on when to delay matches versus moving indoors.
|
OFFICIAL BALL
Wilson US Open Regular Duty will be the ball used.
