2. Practice courts: Murr Center will be open at 7 am. With most participants potentially wanting to warm-up, hitting will be limited to 10-15 minute intervals to accommodate as many people as possible on a first come, first served basis. The alternate site in Natick is closed and will not be opened until we arrive there for matches. Therefore, courts will not be available for warm-up at the alternate indoor site before matches.
Players will get full 10 minute warm-up before doubles matches (which will be played first). There will be a 5 minute warm up for the singles matches.
3. All players will play 1 doubles match (one regular set, TB at 6-6) and 1 singles match (8 game pro-set, TB at 7-7). We will still use 1-ad scoring as we did today.Girls' matches will be played at Harvard/Murr Center starting at 8:45 am, immediately following the Coaches' Panel. Boys' matches will be played at Longfellow Tennis Club/Natick Racquet Club, at 16 Michigan Ave., Natick, MA 01760. It is approximately a 20 minute drive from Harvard, so we are estimating that we will start matches in the 9:15-9:30 range. Please proceed directly to the Natick site from the coaches panel so that we can start matches as close to 9:15 as possible! Printed directions will be available at the Tournament Desk, or your may find GPS directions using the 16 Michigan Ave. address in Natick, MA.

The DTS College Prospects Showcase at Harvard is part of the DTS College Exposure Series. All participants will play 3 singles and 1 doubles matches regardless of their win/loss record. Results of the event will count for each players Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) and Tennis Recruiting Network (TRN) ranking. Results will NOT count for players USTA ranking.
College coaches from many schools throughout the country use the event as an opportunity to watch potential prospects for their school and tennis program. The event is "recruiting friendly". Coaches get profiles on all of the participants that includes not only their contact information, but their GPA, standardized test scores (if available at the time), and tennis rankings and ratings. All players wear their names on their back so coaches can easily identify players.
Registration for this event is done through the Donovan Tennis Strategies website (www.donovantennis.com), and not through tennis link.
