This tournament will use a combination of USTA/Midwest Points Per Round and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) for player selection and seeding. Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order:
1 - 52 Players based on the most recent USTA/Midwest Standings List in the age division of the tournament
2 - 12 Players based on UTR

Players will be seeded for the tournament in the following order:
1 - Top 8 seeds based on UTR
2- Seeds 9-16 based on USTA/Midwest Standings List

selke.sue@courtone.com with the age group and name to remove from the alternate list if you are going to enter another tournament.

After Friday at 12:00 noon I will only use those players that chose to be on site for the tournament.
1). Send an email to selke.sue@courtone.com.
2). If you are going to the Friday night early check in at Court One Athletic Clubs, 2291 Research Circle, Okemos, Mi 48864 when you come in Check in with the Tournament Director, Sue Selke, so I know you are in town, need age group, a cell phone number and where you are staying.
3). If you cannot check in on Friday night you will need to be at Court One Athletic Clubs (same address as above) at 7:30 am to check in with the Tournament Director, Sue Selke.
4). All Stand by alternates will meet at 7:30 am at the club and we will wait at the club until the first round of play is on court for your age group.
5). It will be the order of alternates that have check in according to the updated alternate list.
6). If you wait and do not get into the singles draw and there are still opening in the age division doubles group you will have an opportunity to play doubles and can be inserted into the draw but the tournament will not put partners together so you will need to know who you are playing with.Once the doubles draw begins there will be no more teams inserted into the doubles draw.

For this tournament you may ONLY ENTER and be considered for ONE AGE GROUP. Also you must play DOUBLES in the same division as singles.
The deadline for the other tournaments over Memorial Day weekend are after the selections are made for this Midwest Level 3 so you will still have a choice to enter another tournament after the selections are made for this Level 3 event.
Once selections are made you will NOT receive an entry REFUND if you WITHDRAW.
REMEMBER ONLY ONE AGE GROUP TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS TOURNAMENT>

If you withdraw after selections have been made there is no refund of the entry fee.

Optional Check in will be Friday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m. eastern standard time. Players will be able to pick up their player bags and t-shirt , at Court One East, 2291 Research Circle, Okemos, MI 48864 (517) 349-1199.
If you cannot make the earlier check in at the club on Friday evening then you will need to report to your playing site 15 minutes prior to your first match time.

The Singles Main & Consolation Draws will play best of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10-point super tiebreak in lieu of a third set. The doubles will play an 8 game proset.

All play will begin at 8:00 am
If no rain this is the schedule we will follow.

Saturday: 2 rounds of singles and doubles.
Sunday: 2 rounds of singles and doubles.
Monday: 2 rounds of singles and 1 round of doubles.

Trophies will be given to the following players:
Champion, Finalist, 3rd & 4th place, and winner and runner up of the Gold Division.
In addition, a Sportsmanship trophy will be awarded per age group.
