Due to the rain coming around noon today. All matches report 30 minutes earlier than posted match time. For example: 9:00 report at 8:30, 9:30 report at 9:00 etc.
Format will change: Consolation will play no ad, Main draw will play a match tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set.

MEDICAL RELEASE WAIVER
USTA requires a medical release SIGNED BY THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN for every player. This form must be presented at the time of the tournament registration. Players are not allowed on the court without this release
Draws will be posted by noon on Friday.
A word of caution: BE SURE TO READ THE SITE AND THE TIME. There can be multiple sites on the same part of the draw.
Players should check in 30 minutes early for their match. This will allow travel if you are at the wrong site.
There are 16 miles of heavy road construction between Exit 231 and 216
on I-75 south of Atlanta. Please drive safely and allow extra time if
you are driving thru or from Atlanta. This is also an area that accidents FREQUENTLY cause major delays. CHECK TRAFFIC REPORTS ONLINE AND HAVE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE PLANNED.

First singles matches times are posted above under Tournament Reports. Doubles draws/times for Sunday will be posted Saturday by 9 pm. Deadline to pair up with a partner is3 pm Saturday. Registration online for doubles closes on Friday night at 11:59pm. If we don't have confirmation from both players at 3 pm Saturday, your team will not be selected for doubles.

USTA SOUTHERN SEEDING CRITERIA
In an effort to provide greater transparency and understanding of how
USTA Southern seeds will be determined for USTA Southern L 1, 1A and 2
events, FAC (Friend at Court) method II.A.4.b., which provides for a
computerized system of rankings or standings. The Junior Competition
Committee approved the chart that the Tournament Seeding Committees,
with assistance from the USTA Southern staff, shall utilize to determine
seedings. Lower level USTA Southern L 3, 4 & 5 events and State
events below USTA Southern L 1-2 events, may choose between FAC seeding
methods II.A.4.a., which provides for an All Factors Method, or
II.A.4.b., which provides for a computerized system of rankings or
standings and shall be published.
Criteria to be considered: Players
who have a standing in the next younger age division, Players with a
current top 50 USTA National standing, top 100 ITF ranking, top 1000 ATP
or WTA rankings. When calculating 12U seeds, the 10U standings are not

DOUBLES SEEDING CRITERIA
Teams shall be seeded in the order of their combined standings (e.g.,

the same combined standing shall be seeded in the order of the total
number of Ranking points held by each team

A late entrant will not be accepted if he/she affects the seeding.
PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT A RESPONSE TO A LATE ENTRY REQUEST BEFORE WEDNESDAY 6/8/16 after the seeds are posted.

USTA Southern Wild Card Procedure
Up to four
(4) Wild Cards will be approved for the boys and girls 12 – 18 divisions. A player may apply for a Wild Card for
whatever reason; injury, illness, or personal circumstance. Please remember, there are only up to four
Wild Cards given per division, and no guarantees all four will be used.
Card applications will have to be submitted before 9:00 AM EST, the morning
after the registration deadline. In 2016, that will be Monday, June 6th.
The applications will be reviewed by a
committee consisting of the USTA Southern Player Development Director, USTA
Southern Junior Competition Director, the tournament director, and two Junior
Competition Committee members (selected by the Chairman).
