At the end of round 1 (for purposes of rounds, a bye in Round 1 counts as a round played)
• The winners go east
•The losers go west
At the end of round 2:
• The east losers go north
• The west losers go south.
At the end of round 3:
• The east losers go northeast
• The north losers go northwest
• The west losers go southwest
• The south losers go southeast.
• The winners play the finals on each draw sheet.

This tournament guarantees all players 3 matches and you could play more if your draw dictates. If you are informed by your site director that your draw is complete and you've only played 2 matches, please inform your site director that you've only played twice. He will make sure that you play 3 times before your tournament experience is complete.

If you do not have internet access readily available to you, your hotels generally do in their business centers. Please use their internet services to access our tournament homepage for updates. This will help you know when to return to your site for match play and help the tournament run more smoothly by reducing unnecessary phone calls. You may also call the CATA office for updates at 512 443-1342. Our office voice mail will have updates for you as well. However, this is more difficult to stay on top of so your most up-to-date info can be found by using our tourney homepage. more info

You are asked to RE-CHECK YOUR DRAWS, once published, up to tournament start time of 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21st. I continue to receive withdrawals for injury and illness and you wouldn't want to show up unnecessarily. If I have a contact number or email address in the tournament software program, I'll do my best to contact you. However, some players have NO contact information provided. For this reason, ALL PLAYERS CONTINUE TO RE-CHECK DRAWS UNTIL YOUR MATCH TIME, beginning with your first round and throughout the tournament.
