We will try and accommodate scheduling conflicts that meet the criteria

party, Driver Education classes or Behind the Wheel sessions, attending or
being part of a wedding, other sports events or participation.
REQUESTS FOR SCHEDULING CONSIDERATION -- Needed by May 26th! Please
think through the dates of May 31 through June 5th, for conflicts based on the
match play times described above for each day. All requests for
scheduling considerations due to conflicts must be received in writing by the

details regarding event, time block you cannot play, and the earliest time on
the conflict day that you can be on site in Aurora and ready to play. No
one can skip an entire day of the tournament when their draw has matches being

SEEDING FOR EACH EVENT
Within the All Factors method of seeding per Friend At Court, the most recent UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) of players available at the time of the draw will be used as the primary reference for seeding. Recent head-to-head matches of Northern Illinois players will also be reviewed when two players are close in UTR along with any other recent results. NOTE: Per USTA rules, the seeds must be a power of 2 (2, 4, 8, 16, etc.) and include no more than one seed per every three players in the draw.
DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FROM ALL PLAYERS
Players who have not previously provided proof of U.S. CITIZENSHIP or LEGAL RESIDENCY to the NITA office must email,fax, or mail ONE of the following PRIOR TO THE TOURNAMENT ENTRY DEADLINE OF MAY 27: Copy of either 1) U.S. Birth Certificate or 2) U.S. Passport or 3)Permanent Resident Alien Card (Green Card) or 4) a receipt confirming filing of the I-485. if you are unsure of your status. ENTRY FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT BEGINS! Players who have credit card payments that are denied when selections are made on May 29th must mail a check immediately to 115 Brook Street, Algonquin IL so it is received before Friday, June 1st; otherwise a check must be presented to the tournament director before the player's first match or the individual will not be allowed to play that match and will be moved into the consolation draw. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Players must be resident of the Northern Illinois District Players must be resident of the Northern Illinois District, consisting of 25 counties in the upper third of the state, excluding Cook, Lake, and DuPage Counties. Residents of those three counties are members of the Chicago District and must play in the CDTA Qualifier
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, May 26, 2019 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
